My sister has moved into Cascades of Bremerton Independent Living. It's very well maintained and it's a comfortable environment. The staff members are very helpful and pleasant. The manager in particular, Lisa, was very accommodating, and even allowed my sister to stay in an apartment while her apartment was getting finished, and that made a big difference. They provide good meals and they assisted with moving in. It was a good experience. They have a variety of activities available. With COVID, some things have been limited. They frequently go out shopping together. They offer transportation to doctor and dentist offices. On site, they offer exercise equipment. They're always doing puzzles and games of some sort. There's a large library. They have entertainment and a happy hour every Wednesday that the residents seem to enjoy. They do knitting together. My sister just got a new iPhone offering assistance to residents about learning how to use it. They have Christmas activities. There's a variety of things. Every week there's something going on.

I toured Cascades of Bremerton. I like this place a lot. The food was good. The woman who showed us around was wonderful. She spent a couple of hours with me. She was just so helpful. I loved the location, and it was in very good condition and well taken care of. The staff were all very, very nice. For amenities, they had a viewing room, a koi pond, and an enclosed courtyard. They had card rooms, a little bistro, an exercise room, and an art room, too.

Cascades of Bremerton was very nice. The staff was pleasant and nice. The apartments were adequate. The maintenance was good. Their dining area looked nice. They have a lot of activities and places that you can go to if you desire to. It's just a very old place.

One of the problems we had when we were looking at a couple of facilities was the doors were too stiff to open and my dad has to use a walker. At The Willows of Cascades of Bremerton, you can get through their doors real easy, and that's a big thing. It seems a pretty clean place too. The only thing they do for my dad is providing him with his meals and clean the room for him. Their eating area is more like a restaurant instead of just a place to have food thrown at you. It's very tidy, the staff is very helpful, and once or twice a month, he can go on short trips. Some places would probably be a higher rating, but they would cost twice as much per month. This one is pretty nice, considering what I have to pay. Overall, they're an excellent place.

Cascades of Bremerton is just across the street from their independent living place. For activities they have Bingo, Chess, card games, dancing, piano playing, TV, and movies. The dining area is nice. We've eaten there before, and the food was good. I like Cascades of Bremerton, but I didn't like the size of their apartments. Maybe I can get my bed to fit in one of them, but that's about it. I could put two of their apartments in my living room at home.

The apartments at The Willows are much better. The only thing I didn't like is that most of the communities are all corporate run, and I think it is a crying shame that they charge a $500 fee for a second person. For activities they have TV, movies, Wii bowling, Chess, and cards. They have an exercise room, a spa, a computer room, and a library. The food is excellent too. The facilities are excellent and they're well-maintained. I wouldn't mind living there, but there are hang-ups with moving there. And I'm not crazy about the corporation that runs them.

My mom is moving into The Willows next week. The rooms are very nice and good-sized. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have a fitness center, a library, a hair salon, an activity room, and different activities. The meal I had was very good and I was impressed.

I am in The Willows now. I chose it because it is a beautiful place, and everything it pleasant. They are very friendly. I am on the first floor. The maintenance is very good, so it's very clean and very nice. The staff is very friendly and very understanding. The rooms are bright, light, and beautiful. It is like I am living in a beautiful motel or hotel.

It's been a year and a half since I moved to The Willows. I have a very nice two bedroom and two bath apartment. We have lots of activities. I have no problems in this place. I would recommend this place to anybody who is interested.

I think The Willow is a great facility. The determining factor of why I chose them was they will not charge me for the services that my father doesn't need, unlike other facilities I toured that charge for services whether you need them or not. The people that live and work there were extremely friendly. The rooms and dining rooms were very clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and accommodating.

I used to live up the street from The Willows so I had the chance to visit this facility. It's a beautiful facility. I didn't see anything that I didn't like about this place. They are very good, but they are just too expensive.

I visited my grandma at The Willows and it is very lovely. The exterior and the interior are decorated very lavishly, with real plants and paintings on the inside and seasonal gardens in the quart-yard. Not to mention they have plots of gardens available for tenants to cultivate in and a gazebo with a nice view of Mount Rainer on clear days. There is also a huge dining hall; that resembles a fine restaurant, instead of a cafeteria, the serving staff even wears a formal waiters' uniform. The hall includes a salad bar and there is no limit on beverages or deserts. The staff is also very friendly and most can remember almost all the residents name which is quite a few.

Upon my arrival to the facility, I was warmly greeted by the pleasant woman sitting behind the front desk. After a few minute wait, I was introduced to the general manager of the entire community. We exchanged minor pleasantries and then immediately embarked upon a tour of the community. I was able to see all of the amenities that are available to every resident. I was very impressed with all of the renovations that had been done to modernize the upstairs cafe and internet lounge. Also located on the second floor, was a movie theater and an arts and crafts room. Another surprise on this floor was the party room that can be reserved by a resident to hold a special event, with the choice of in-house catering, bringing in their own food, or using the kitchenette provided. There are several beautiful landscaped seating areas, strategically placed along a walking path. The biggest draw at this particular facility is the dining room, which serves lunch and dinner. I was impressed at the chef driven kitchen, the kitchen staff and the waitstaff. Yes, you read that correctly, dinner is full service with a waiter or waitress assigned to a table. Although I did not accept the employment offer, the few hours that I had spent at, The Willows, definitely helped to shape my perception of such a facility into a positive one!
