I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mom is doing great at Falcons Landing. She likes the place and the support she receives. They're wonderful. They're compassionate and caring. They go out of their way to care for her. The grounds are manicured and beautiful. Her room is spacious with a private bathroom. The dining room has a pleasant atmosphere and serves very good food. They also offer a variety of activities.

I am/was a resident of this facility

This is a wonderful place to live, beautifully kept up with a staff that knows you by name. No name tags here. There is much to do, Bridge, book clubs, volunteering, many activities for all age groups. Great fitness center, swimming pool, outdoor areas, tennis courts. Walking distance to the river. Maid service, at your door newspapers. Great health center, library, crafts room. You can choose from a apartment, all sizes, duplex or cottage. Alzheimer’s unit will soon be built. Gated community, very secure.

I visited this facility

I visited Falcons Landing once, and it was a very clean community. Everybody was really friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful, but it's hilly and difficult for walking. They have a gym, a swimming pool, and different things are scheduled on a daily basis. They have apartments, separate cottages, 1-bedrooms, and 2-bedrooms. They were very well maintained.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

Mother had been to Johnson Cntr/Falcons Landing before and I went to go check them out. They're from a military and government background. The amazing thing about them is that especially in Johnson Center, they have a skilled nursing section too. They have the most amazing facility and if Mom was really sick, I'd send her there. There were fancier parts outside of Johnson Center and I knew Mom would hate it because it's bring your own booze and they don't have a wine and happy hour. She previously was a patient in the skilled nursing facility for rehab there. It's absolutely gorgeous and it's an incredible retirement community. If you're a military retiree and you're eligible to go there, it's definitely worth checking out. It's a seriously good facility. The grounds were beautiful, and the buildings were all really nice. The staff was excellent. The food was amazing. I ate there when my mom was there, and if you want fillet mignon every night for dinner, you can have it. The people were great. They have all kinds of activities and different things every day, which is really great. They have everything from visiting animals to flower arranging, to art. They have a full schedule of activities. It's better than it costs. They're not there to make money, they're there to take care of people.

I visited this facility

Falcons Landing was the best place that I've seen, so far. It had multiple levels of care, but it did not have a hospice. It's the only place I would recommend. The place was about 30 acres that had separate houses and several main buildings. Within the main buildings were all sorts of levels of care. It had a dining room that had a comment book where people could comment on the food that was being served.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

The one I’m really familiar with is Falcons Landing, and my mother is a resident there. She’s been there for about 12 years. This facility is primarily for retired military officers. They have independent houses, duplexes, single homes, and five towers of various sized apartments all inter-connected from the common hallway to the common living area with several restaurants, that type of thing. They provide excellent service. Of all the facilities I’ve seen, it’s the best. They have craft facilities and any kind of activities that the residents request. They’ve got three forms of transportation from a large travel bus to a medium-sized transport vehicle to a smaller vehicle that they use to go on overnight excursions or daily excursions. Excellent menu that changes very frequently and they have a formal dining area where it’s preferred that the gentlemen wear coat and tie, no jeans. And then they have also an informal eating area where you can wear jeans or casual clothing attire, and there’s a little snack bar as well. There’s an attached building to the main facility that they call the Johnson Center, which is their assisted living or nursing facility, depending on the requirements of the individual.

I had gone to see Falcons Landing. It was a wonderful facility. They are so good that they don’t have any availability. It is a very classy place.

I visited this facility

When we went to Falcons Landing, the staff were very courteous. The place itself is not brand new but it's very nice. I would say that the facility has a nice environment.

I visited this facility

My grandfather had a stroke and developed pneumonia as a result of a weakened immune system. From the moment he checked in to Falcon's Landing, the staff was warm, genuine and attentive. We live about a half mile away and were able to visit him almost every day during his stay there. My grandfather passed away at this facility and again, the staff was caring and seemed genuinely sad that he had passed. I believe he received excellent care during his time and every effort was made to ensure that he was as comfortable as could be, given his circumstances, during his final days.
