I have visited this facility two times per month of a couple of years. I have from one to 3 residents at a time that are hospice patients of mine. I am a hospice social worker and I usually visit patients in their rooms or sometimes in a den-like area that has a table, couches and a tv. The administrator is always open to having a meeting whenever my hospice requests it in order to discuss a resident's situation, to problem solve, discuss safety concerns, etc. there are different levels of care at this facility, depending on how much assistance a person needs,. The facility is willing to keep residents until their death when hospice is involved, as long at the resident's needs are being met. They have activities and a dining room and are willing to bring meals to the room if a resident is not feeling well. They also provide transportation. The staff is mostly friendly, welcoming and helpful and we work together as a team usually.
