My stepdad moved to Hearthstone Manor. It's close to my house, and it's not as expensive as the other places. The staff was great. For the activities, when I left, they were all watching the Olympics on a big TV screen. They have an area where they go out, sit under the sun, or a covered patio area. It's small, but it's there. They serve three meals a day.

I toured the Hearthstone Manor. To me, it wasn't very clean. Everything else seemed to be fine, but it seemed old and not clean. I don't like that you have to pay for every extra thing. Like If you needed somebody to do your medication, you had to pay for that; if you need somebody to do your laundry, you had to pay for that. I think everything should be included all in one price and not have all the add-ons. It also didn't seem clean and organized. The guy that gave us the tour was super good though.

My mom moved into Hearthstone Manor. It's excellent from what I've seen so far. I couldn't be happier, nice people, caring. It's almost like moving into a home that just has a bunch of elderly people instead of it being an institution, we felt like we were moving into a family home. The staff is excellent. The rooms are nice, big, with their own baths. The dining area is very nice. Each person has their own place at the table. I think there's a TV, they have a salon and a fitness room. Upkeep and maintenance look to be fine. It has excellent value for money.

Hearthstone Manor was a smaller scale place, and it was very homey. They said they had 21 rooms, and they're finishing an expansion to make it 33. Currently, they just have studio apartments in there, and they're adding on one-bedroom apartments. They were still under construction for the add-on. They showed me everything, but they were fully occupied in their studio apartments, which were the ones that were not under construction. They couldn't show me any of those because they were fully occupied, but I walked through the newer area that's being constructed, where they will have one-bedrooms. It's not as elegant as the other place. It's for somebody who wants a smaller and homier place. There weren't big extra rooms, like a big library or a big gathering room. They had a tiny room where people were eating when I was there. I was so impressed with the culture there, because it's not a bigger feel. It's a smaller, homier feel. I was shown around by the owner, and she was wonderful. They had a good menu. It offers high-level care, but you have to pay more, once someone gets to the point where they need that really high-level care, and to be watched more closely at a point where they're wandering and all of that. You would not at the very end have to send your loved one somewhere else.

Hearthstone Manor felt very comfortable, but I think my mom would have ended up needing more help, because those people were walking around, and she was just at a stage that would have required more care than what we saw. The gentleman who took us through was the owner, and he was so pleasant and kind, and he was trying to be helpful. The place was clean and beautiful, too. The dining area was nice. They have a place to do their hair, a place where they could watch television, and a library.

My sister-in-law moved into Hearthstone Manor. Her apartment is nice, it's the nicest room we've visited, it's well kept, and well maintained. It is in general a very nice room. I think the staff is very caring, very devoted, and I actually enjoyed being around them. My sister-in law is doing well, she's interacting with the other residents, the staff, and as far as I can tell, things are going well. They have activities in the house, they have a bus, they go for rides around the town once a week, they have a cable and internet connection, and she brought in her own TV.

Hearthstone Manor was nice overall. Everything was a five out of five, including the rooms and the food. They had a little chapel and they had activities. The staff was very nice. It was very clean and kept up.

My mother has been at Hearthstone Manor for about 5 years, and she has been in the memory care section for about 4 of those years. Hearthstone is close to my home, and I am over there for about an hour every evening between about 5 and 6 pm. I like to feed my mom her supper as that is my time with her, and she can't feed herself. I know the owner and everyone on staff there personally, and we have many conversations while I am feeding my mom and they are helping other residents there. I like the owner, his family, and the staff. They know each Hearthstone resident well. That is very important to me because my mom was in a much larger assisted living facility before we moved her to Hearthstone, and she did not get near the care, love, and individual attention she gets at Hearthstone. The owner and manager, one in the same, lives in the area and is well known locally as is his wife and children. He has really added a lot of remodeling, landscaping, and furniture to Hearthstone over the past year or two. He is working at the facility about every day, and he visits with all who come to check out Hearthstone as a temporary home for their loved one.. He has Utah values, and relates well to my concerns involving my mother. I can call him or text him at any time and get a response quickly. I watch the staff everyday and see how they interact with the residents and how they show their love to them. Hearthstone has musical programs, activities, and family night for the residents every week. The staff at Hearthstone have a great love for my mom, and they show that in the way they care for her.

My father has resided at Hearthstone Manor for 2 years now. I am very happy that, after looking at many facilities and wrestling with the difficult decision, that I made this choice. Every single person working there cares for all the residents as if they were their own family members. Every time I visit my father I'm told about how he has been doing and often a story about his participation in the activities. For me the most important aspect of the facility where my father would live was the personal care he would receive. The facility is just large enough to provide the proper care but not so large that individuals just become a number. I can't recommend Hearthstone Manor highly enough, it was exactly what I was looking for.

Hearthstone Manor has been great. They have been really good in taking care of my mom. The rooms and apartments are nice. The only thing I do not like about it is they have two people in a room, and I wish there was only one. They offer exercise, music, and fieldtrips. What impressed me most with this facility is the staff. They are very caring. It is nice. I like it.

My father was at Heartstone Manor for quite a while. It was a very good facility. They were all nice people and they treated my father with a lot of care. They have assisted living there and had an Alzheimer's unit also. The place is clean. I found this place on the web then we talked to them and decided it's the place to go.

This facility is midsized, with about a thirty resident capacity. It's big enough for the residents to make many new friends, but small enough so that it still retains that homelike feel. This facility is exceptionally clean. They do more than surface cleaning. The edges are clean and the places where people don't think to look, like the top of the curtain rods and door frames. Because I do look. I haven't seen so much as a speck of dust. Better yet, it always smells so good, like fresh laundry. And everything has a crisp, just cleaned look to it. A very nice, well-kept facility.
