My mother-in-law was in BeeHive Homes of American Fork. She stayed there for a year and a half. First, she was in assisted living and then she went into memory care in the back. The people were very caring and very kind to her. They took very good care of her. She was having a lot of troubles with her body, and they were careful to always keep her clean and neat. They called us and let us know if anything was going on. They were very communicative to us. We were so grateful for the care they gave her because it made a difference. We couldn't have done it without them. It's a small house, and she had a smaller room, but they kept it neat and clean. Her bed was comfortable. She by that time, had enough dementia, so she didn't need a lot of stuff around. It was just the right size for what she needed. We felt very, very fortunate. It was very affordable for us because she didn't have a whole lot of money. The food looked really good. We did go there for an Easter meal and it was very lovely. It looked like they did a lot with fresh food and vegetables. It was very nice. It's kind of a scaled-down place, so they had a little TV. They did a lot of inside-the-house activities for a place that was so small. They had little parties for the New Year. There were small activities, but this was not a very big or expensive place. She was in very limited abilities at that point, but they were delighted to take care of her in every way that she needed. I would rate them very high. They were extraordinarily caring and always open to the family. They gave us a lot of suggestions on how to help mom. We took her out for lunches and stuff. She didn't create a lot of relationships there because she was already very impaired. Every time we went there, she was in wonderful shape. The staff was extraordinarily caring, kind, and very good to her. They had a flu outbreak while I was there and they were very careful to quarantine everybody. They seemed to have a lot of good safety features. They were very, very careful with everything and it was always clean. For the level of care that my mother-in-law was at, they did a great job. For someone else, it might not be the right thing, but for us it was. Value for money was very good.

My mother is in BeeHive Homes of American Fork. It's been great. They have bingo and church activities. The staff members are warm and friendly. The food is not fancy, but it fits my mom's needs. Her room is kept clean. They have a TV room, a game closet where residents can get games or puzzles, and they have pianos that the residents can use.

My parents were previous residents of Beehive Homes. Overall it was very nice, initially we felt that it was going to be a good change for them, and the room was open and large. The staff met Daddy's needs, and they were able to care for him well. However, they seemed to be business oriented, and less personal, and the food was way lacking. They need to hire more skilled people, prepare more nutritious, balance meals, and to improve the activities.

I work in the National Guard and cant be there for my mom. We looked at about 15 assisted living facilitys in and around Lehi and Payson area. The last one we visted was, clean, smoke free and everyone was out playing bingo, everyone was happy to be there. Compastionate, caring, loving owners and to top it all they know what they are doing, not to forget they are very hands on. Everytime we are there they are there making sure everone is being taken care of. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a place to put their mother or father when they are unable to take care of them themselves. Top notch company and service, very reasonable rates and a very good location for those that are being taken care of, there is even railroad tracks near by for them to watch.

This facility is in a residential area, pretty much based in a house. Albeit a large house, which holds up to twenty residents. It's a small community with a definite home-like vibe to it. When I visited, everyone was smiling, residents and staff. Even the staff member who was taking out the garbage was smiling, which is saying quite a bit, because garbage work isn't the best. But every jobs important and the staff take their jobs seriously, yet cheerfully. When I visited, the residents were doing some light exercises in the main living area, which was completely adorable. They were all eager and a little bit awkward and laughing and teasing, but nobody seemed to mind. The staff member in charge was extremely patient, just kept encouraging and helping the residents and joining in with the laughter. This facility doesn't feel like a facility, but a rather large, extended familly hanging out together.

The facility was beautiful and very well put together. It was a converted home so it had a very inviting and home-like feel. The place was kept very neat and organized. Residents had access to main areas, but also had a private room with a personal bathroom. The staff was kind and helpful. The facility was small which was very nice for the quietness and home feel, but because of that size there were fewer employees. I've seen other facilities where staff members are constantly passed down the hall and in the main areas, but in the Beehive center it was not as easy to quickly locate an employee. On the other hand, the employees did have fewer residents to care for. We had to bring in our own dresser and rocking chair because they weren't provided in the private room and the room was very small. The smaller facility was very nice and it looked beautiful, as well as it cost less than the larger ones that look more like a hospital opposed to a home.
