The nurses and cnas are very friendly and helpful.. They have a positive attitude and stay on top of things. Very nice and clean facility. My mother was very happy during her rehab stay and would return if need be. I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for staff that truly cares and an excellent rehab department.

There is laziness at Oak Park Nursing & Rehab Center; people are not actively being aware. They tell you that they are going to bathe you -- they never do -- and you have to remind them. With food coming to his room, it's like my mom has to go out because they forget, and she has to go looking for them at 6 P.M. My dad has been there for three weeks now, and we are still not happy with them. We have to stay on top of everything and everybody there. There are some nice people, but I feel that a quarter is around the ball and three quarters are off the ball, so I am not happy with the care at all. The care is not what it should be. Some of the people when you walk in don't even say hello, but we've already complained about that because my mom would greet people, and nobody would acknowledge her, so that has changed. His room that we've gotten is OK. He is in a big private room with a table and everything. Some of the nursing staff and the CNA's are OK. Like I said, only a quarter of them are while the rest you need to stay on top of, but to say anything positive? The location: it's near the hospital he needs to go to. Other than that, I can't say anything positive about them. They have a long way to go. Their physical therapy room looks awesome, but my dad just started physical therapy, and the nursing staff or the CNA's don't even get him ready before rehab. That's another thing I complained about this week. They should know his schedule, and he should be ready to go.
