Mu brother was transferred to Silvercreek after having been in the hospital for nearly 1 mos. He was very debilitated and required total care. They care and therapy he received from everyone was excellent. Aides, dietary, housekeeping, nurses, therapists, social worker, DON, ADON, and administration were all very friendly, caring, compassionate and professional. The facility was always clean and it felt warm and welcoming with seasonal decorations. Thanks to everyone. My brother is now it home continuing to improve. As a family member and RN I highly recommend this facility if you are looking for special care.

We chose Silver Creek Manor for my mom because it's close to my house, but I have to keep calling them a lot, and reminding them of things as simple as getting my mom some water. My mother has a lot of bruises, and the way they dress her is horrible. There are some employees that I really like, but there's other that I don't like at all, not personally, but their skills. The food sometimes looks nasty, but my mom doesn't know, and she eats it anyhow. I asked the nursing staff the other day, "Would you eat this?" and nobody could answer a yes. The facility is also clean, but it smells horrible.

My brother has been a resident of Silver Creek for nearly 5 years now. Our experience over these years has been great. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, and they truly care about the well-being of my brother. The rooms are kept tidy and neat, and the laundry service is excellent. From the moment we call or walk in the door the receptionist, Maggy, is always so friendly and helpful. It is such a joy to work with the Activities Coordinator, Rebekah, she goes above and beyond to ensure our brother has enjoyable activities to engage him during the day. Throughout this pandemic, Rebekah has gone the extra mile to help us connect in meaningful ways with our brother. The Administrator and nursing staff are friendly and they work diligently to provide excellent care for our brother. The physical and occupational therapy that my brother receives has helped him so much. The food is excellent. We always look forward to the Thanksgiving family meal because it is so delicious :) The entire staff has been great to my brother and our family and we are so grateful.

My husband was in Silver Creek on Timber Path for a 5 day respite. He did not receive his meals (his meals were taken to the dining room but he wasn't taken there and no one asked why). He was in a dirty bed in a dirty gown with feces on his bandages. He was left in bed without a blanket in a gown which was too short. My husband told me not to call for help because they got mad. I was told they did not change patients during meal times so he would have to wait. My husband was pushed and told he was too much trouble. I brought him home 3 days early.

My husband was in the hospital for three (3) weeks due to congestive heart failure. To assist with his recovery, he was admitted to Silver Creek Manor on Timber Path for rehabilitation. He had lost the use of his legs and couldn’t get out of bed or go to the bathroom without help. Our experience at Silver Creek Manor was nothing more than a perfect. The Staff started therapy at 6:30 AM and it went from one set of therapy on to another until about 2:00 PM. They didn’t give my husband a chance to feel sorry for himself or think of going home. The instructors were so upbeat, very supportive, jolly and always ready to help us learn the things we were going to need when we returned home. We are very grateful for the lessons learned and the results of their experience and dedication, but most of all for accomplishing the goals we had set, which was to have him move from the bed to the wheelchair and for him to go to the restroom with just a little monitoring to make sure he didn’t hurt himself. We are truly glad for all the help we received; they made our transition to our home a very easy accomplishment. God bless each and every staff members for all their help; from Kimberly, the Social Worker, the RN, all the nurses that brought in medication, the people that prepared the delicious meals plus all the custodians.

The experience at Silver Creek Manor is excellent. It is a little older but very well taken care of. The people there are very caring and knowledgeable. I would certainly recommend it. The rooms are nice and clean. The food is very good, security is great, and staff is very friendly.

The Staff at SCM are very caring and attentive to the needs of their residents. I am very grateful for the care that is provided to my Parents. I feel welcomed and acknowledged when visiting or calling. The Housekeeping/Laundry Staff works very hard to maintain a clean and healthy living environment, the Activities dept does a lot to provide a fun, inviting Social atmosphere, the Nurses and Assistants are very compassionate and knowledgeable and I thank them all! I do wish the Dr's were more visable as opposed to operating mainly via telephone however they are accessible and quick to act when needed. The Receptionist is very friendly, the Administrator and the Business office operates in a very professional and reliable manner, Occupational Therapy does amazing work, the Dining dept meets the challenges of the residents nutritional diets. If I've omitted a dept I is not my intent, I am very pleased with SCM, its Staff and total care and my Parents are as well.
