My brother-in-law has moved into Mesa Vista Health Center. We had to put him into a nursing home because he was a sundowner, a wanderer, and he was a little disruptive at times. It's just about 30 days now and he's fine. He's got a good attitude until the sun starts setting. He's adjusting. Everything is positive so far, the staff, the facility, the condition, and the upkeep. He's doing fine with the food. He just had to adjust a bit, but he's fine. He stays to himself. He's not involved in the activities at this point. They're trying, but he's not involved yet. The room for a nursing care facility is adequate, and the grounds are adequate. There are no complaints thus far.

My dad was at Mesa Vista Health Center. The cleanliness was not something that I could praise them for because it's what they must do, but they never had enough help. They had one CNA for 30 patients, and I had to tell them what to do. Sometimes they would put a diaper over the dirty diaper. The residents didn't have enough supervision because they had Alzheimer's or dementia or something like that, and they could get into a fight. The personnel from the place would come, but while this thing is going on, they don't have somebody to watch them all the time. It was well kept up. They tried to keep everything clean. I had been to other places while looking for a place for my dad, and you go in and you can't even breathe because of the smell, and Mesa Vista didn't smell like that. They also had games for the residents, and Medicaid was paying for that, too.

Sister was sent there under hospice care for more intense PT and OT and to treat malnurishment. NOT ONE SINGLE PT or OT session provided in FIVE days stay! Doctor on staff, without seeing her once, changed her meds as well. She was left in a dirty diaper for over FOUR hours (she was not allowed to get up from the bed without supervision so would ring the button when necessary). Food was inedible and often repeated for weekend meal. Seriously she is worse off now than she was before entering this facility.

We had to move my mother to a secure facility and right now, she is at the Mesa Vista Health Center. Everything's fine there. This is her first day here. It's a very nice place. She has an individual room, which is pretty awesome. It's a nice space, and they just remodeled it and painted it. Everything's very nice and very clean. She's already had two meals, and it's decent food. They have a physical therapy room, the dining room is nice, and they have a living area where they get out together and watch TV. They have very nice landscaping and there are patios. Medicaid is paying for it.

Everything was wonderful at Mesa Vista Inn Health Center. My mother-in-law stayed there for a short time, but I never saw it. They were not allowing visitors in. She was admitted without me going in, but I had a very good communication with them. I had her in there for respite care. I think that my mother-in-law got lots of rest there. I never saw the inside. I was not allowed inside the building, but the exterior was very nice. It looked like the residents were happy. The way the visitors were communicating with the residents was through their window. When I was sitting on the patio, I could see that there was a family visiting with their loved one through the window. They were just taking all precautions because of the COVID. She shared a room, but I chose that option for her.

I placed my mother into this facility for care after a lengthy hospital stay. According to teh nurses daily reports she was doing well. Then came the 4 AM phone call. A nurse very flatly without compassion or for thought announced your mother just died. She then proceeded to bombard with with questions. I asked her if she could give me a moment to collect my thoughts. She responmded, "if this is too much I can call you back". Her attitude worened the fact that my mother had just passed. I reflected that I made a error leaving my mother under the care of such an uncaring staff. I asked for a final bill. I paid the final bill. Then they came back asking for payment for the day of her death. These are facts. Form your own opinion.

We put my dad in Mesa Vista (Mesa Vista Inn Health Center). It is great and clean. They’re very informative and very friendly. They keep him busy, like today they’re going to have a barbecue for the fathers for Father’s Day. They also have bingo and things like that.

My father was at Mesa Vista Inn Health Center for rehab. It was very nice, friendly, and updated. The staff was very good. The rooms were plain, but they were clean.

My mother has been at Mesa Vista since 2011. It was a nice enviroment, employees friendly and there cared about the residents. Now its going down hill can't seem keep good workers, food is lousy and seems that the first shift does not look after the residents. They leave them in their urine soaked clothes. We were told that the state made them remove the alert bed pad. Since then my mom has fallen several times and has had a dislocated elbow. I could go on and on. Things need to improve at Mesa Vista...

My mother is in Mesa Vista Inn Health Center. I chose this facility among others because it is big. It is an older facility but it has good people. My mother has a nice room there. They don't have many activities but they do have bingo and trips. However, the food quality is poor. Other than that, it is an alright facility.
