I used Las Colinas of Westover a couple of times for respite for my mom. I got her clothes back, which is good, because I completely lost them from the other place. They kept Mom clean and I liked the structure of the place. It was clean, nice, and it didn't' smell.

My mom is in Las Colinas of Westover Rehabilitation Center. She's only been there for 3 weeks to maybe a month. She should be going to rehab right now but she's on Medicaid pending. They're the first ones to call me. I didn't get calls from anybody else so they were the only ones that called me. It's a nice facility. The only thing I don't like about it is that she's supposed to be going through rehab right now but they're not doing anything because they're waiting on insurance. My mom doesn't like the food. They have activities but they don't take her to activities. She had gone to a foot doctor though and got her haircut there so they have access to all that stuff. On cleanliness, sometimes they need to sweep and they don't. I like the location because it's close to home. They're also almost across the highway from the Santa Rosa Emergency.

The facility is new and has very good decor and layout. I had my Dad stay for rehabilitation and the staff treated him very well during his stay. He was offered a private room which was very spacious and had a comfortable lazy boy chair. We kept in good communication with the nurses, doctors, including admissions professionals Matt and Jacob who made sure all of our concerns were promptly addressed. Very friendly nurses treated my dad with respect and dignity. The facility offered games and activities, the staff made sure everyone participated and had a good time. We were able to visit with dad anytime, and the staff welcomed us by name. The facility was close to my primary residence and most of my family members, so that was a plus. They provided us with snacks at any time, transportation services, and extra blankets and towels. My father was able to get well enough to leave the facility in better health than when he first arrived. We are very thankful for the all that they have done for our dad and family. I would recommend you give them a visit before deciding on other facilities.

My grandmother was hospitalized after having a fall that resulted in a hip fracture. Even her hospitalization was a new experience as she had been very fortunate to not experience any major medical complications. After a week, her physician recommended rehab and I was given a helpful list of local facilities to visit. After visiting the four in the general Westover area, I decided on Las Colinas. The facility presented very well from an aesthetics standpoint, you could tell they took pride in having a clean facility. The gentleman in admissions, Jacob, was very welcoming, helpful and informative. As impressive as the building was, I was not sold by visuals. He made me aware of the ratings, staffing and a tentative plan of care for my grandmother, which was not only impressive but also showed that he was invested in her recovery. She admitted in to a private room on the 300 hall which housed their therapy patients. Her CNAs Michelle and Ben tended to her needs and nurses Lisa and Oney kept our family aware of any updates in her care. The housekeeping staff cleaned her room daily which was a pleasant surprise. The staff in therapy, Joe, Ross and Susie were vital in her recovery. Not only were they highly experienced in their trade but they connected with my grandmother on a personal level that made not only her initial few days in a new environment more comfortable but her entire stay more enjoyable. I had reservations about their food as I had read bad reviews about it. Whether or not that was an isolated incident or they used that experience to improve their product, her meals were always enjoyable and well presented. Although I hope she never needs to have inpatient rehab again, if the need were to ever arise, there is no other facility i would have her go. I highly recommend this facility and thank you to the entire staff.

Yeah the facility is nice but the care is awful. Ever since Genesis took over the care has gone downhill. Don't be fooled by the nice newer building and the fake smiles. Yes they are going to be nice when you are touring the facility. But they will not take good care of their patients. My mom has been there almost 4 years and at first it was great. But once Genesis came in things changed. They can't keep a Social Worker, workers don't last. I am having my mother moved to another facility because I am so tired of them not doing their job. These poor residents need help and they don't deserve to be treated like they don't matter anymore. I don't recommend anybody taking their loved one there.

This place is a huge disappointment it's a nice looking place. But they don't have things that patients need. Especially for short term patients. No extra wheel chairs, don't know where parts are that belong to certain machines. Some of the staff very nice friendly and helpful. But others don't seem to care.they come when they feel like or just let the call lights keep ringing.

Las Colinas at Westover Hills was very nice and very clean. They had friendly staff. I like its convenience, as it was a lot closer than the other ones.

I visited Las Colinas. It was very clean, and seemed to be pretty organized. The rooms were clean, and well put together. The staff was very friendly, very professional, and courteous. It was in a nice area. It was very well kept.

Las Colinas is a very nice place; it’s not very old. It looks pretty new, very pretty, and clean, but the service is pretty bad. My brother has problems getting the nurses to come when he needs some help. He is more or less bedridden, and sometimes they forget to feed him; that’s my big problem with that place. The room was OK and large, but it wasn’t great. The food was OK. They bring musicians to play for the patients and things like that. They do have bingo, and I guess cards and parties for Christmas time. I think the place is safe and secure. The appearance of the place is a very nice looking place -- modern and very clean.

When you walk in, Las Colinas is almost like a luxury hotel. The place is very appealing esthetically. That was initially what drew us to it. A lot of it had to do with the appearance. It looked a little more homely than a hospital, and it was new. We met some of the staff. They were not full, and so Mother was able to get a private room because they've had so much vacancy. I know they've had Girl Scouts, and they have little concerts and make Christmas decorations. I think they play bingo and do stuff like that. I have picked at her food before, and I say it's OK. She doesn't care for it too much. I'm not going to say it's the best food ever, but it's definitely OK. I think she's as happy as she can be. What worked out great is the fast food place that has seafood, and one of the few things my mom likes to eat is fried shrimp, so I take her a couple of times a week.
