Staff did not give much attention or care to my aunt who was brought over from hospital. She stayed in bed without being told what meds she'll be given or what treatment plan is. My aunt was not checked on much nurse came by to quickly drop off meds never checked her wounds. My father was brought here previously and I warned family he was continuously neglected and so will she. The staff is run down and talk over their patients how tired they are. One can tell they hate their jobs and the patients feel and hear it about their misery every day. This place is not a good caring place to bring a loved one. Hopefully Northside has much better facility. Look else where.

I was transferred here from Methodist Hospital if this is what Methodist offers RUN! I Am laying here in in filth with my call light being ignored and no pain meds in sight even though they knew I was coming. Wouldn't recommend this place to a dog let alone a human.

I took a tour of this facility for possible placement for my brother when the time comes. This place is beautiful. Staff was very friendly and was able to answer any question that I had. I think all of the patients were in the dining room playing bingo and I was told this happens quite often. All of the patients I saw were very well groomed and the place was very clean, unlike some of the other places that I toured. Therapy room was really big and I was informed of how financials work. I left feeling very knowledgeable and comfortable. I will not hesitate to put my brother here at Hunters Pond.

My dad has been here less than a week and the services are completely hit or miss. It seems like they are short on staff and food. My dad's meal last night was a ham and cheese sandwich and some coleslaw and that was supposed to be a "double portion". Another time he had 3 small chicken strips, 2 tablespoons of veggies and a roll. There's no nurse call button where you can actually talk to someone - simply a button to push and eventually whenever they feel like it someone will make their way to the room. My mom has had to help my dad on multiple occasions due to lack of staff response. Imagine if there weren't any family to help? Some of the staff is very nice, but if you don't have enough people then it really doesn't matter. We will be looking to get him moved.

Mom was there for three weeks after knee surgery. Staff was polite and diligent in following through with her care. If I ever had a concern or received a call from my mom, I was confident that i could call the front desk and it would be taken care of immediately. It is a big facility and mom complained about the food, but overall they worked well and handled their patients with care. Crystal and Amber were two people who went beyond the call to help. Thank you again.

Hunter's Pond has been my home for two stays. The admin staff are a great group. You are treated like family. The atmosphere is such a happy one. Each time I have been here, I have had to learn to walk. The therapy group are great. The activity room is a very special place for the residents to get together and laugh a lot. This facility has a very nice dining area and the food better all the time. This facility is very clean and the cleaning people are friendly and helpful. The residents here feel like one big happy family.

.... some of the staff who have been very helpful are Bernice, Celia, Maria, Chase , crystal and Bertha. The meals that are prepared are healthy and snacks are provided to the residents as needed. This facility is very well kept up, clean and the residents have daily activities to keep their minds and bodies working and involved with others. Overall this facility has been one of the nicest we have found and feel very much at ease that our loved ones are taken care of. Recommend this facility to others.

I am absolutely astonished about how horrible this nursing home is. At first I thought this was the perfect place for my grandfather, the place looks nice and the nurses seemed caring. My poor 87 year old grandpa was able to speak and eat and go to the restroom all by himself before going to the nursing home but maybe a month in he became totally dependent. He was constantly drugged and dozing off, we waited 2 hours just for his diaper to be changed. it was ridiculous. We moved him nursing homes and we found out that they were prescribing him heavy medications to make him sleep so he wouldn't be as active. Now that he is at a different nursing home he is back to being totally independent. but I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Hunters Pond is a one-story building with seven halls. All of the nurses and aides are really nice. The food is good. It's a lot better than the place I was at previously. They have plenty of activities, but I don't really participate in much of it, like bingo, music classes, and baking. They have a DJ come in a couple of times a week. It's clean and nice, and they had it decorated nicely. There are lots of pictures on the walls. The whole atmosphere is nice. I can't say one negative thing about this place. There's a shower, bathroom, and everything right in your room.
