From day one, when I went to visit my 94 year young Mom, the spirit of this home is just wonderful. The staff gives so much of themselves to make each resident fell like a real live person. You can feel the love they give and am thankful for my Moms last home.

The rooms are small and shared. It is a good thing they are shared because the only care your family member will get is from their roommate. This is not a rehab but where you take your family to die! I am beyond upset with the lack of care received. Thank GOD we went with our gut and went home early from being out of town to check on our loved one there. However, it was too late. She passed days later. When we got there, we had to call 911 ourselves which is sad because she was naked and unable to communicate, it was very under played when the facility called us, they even told us that she was stable, so they did not need to call 911. Upon arrival we were greeted with staff who then decided to take her vitals, her BP was so low it would not register, nor would her O2 sat because she was so cold. The roommate said she had been on the floor earlier, and one staff member said she had been in that condition since she got there, I asked her when that was, and it had been hours. Hours of her lying in bed unable to talk when the day before we stopped by, and she was communicating just fine. I'm nowhere near done with this review and will be adding more later. It does not even deserve one star.

My mother was in this facility for a week and we had a horrible experience. If I could give them zero stars I would. The reason we took her to this facility was because of the high reviews boy do they have people fooled. Should have been a huge red flag when one of the nurses said that my mom was lucky that she got a quiet roommate at least she didn't get one of the loonies. They yell at the residents when they get aggrevated at them for not listening to them. My mom's first morning my daughter went to check on her at 10:30am and she was soaked from pee because they did not change her, My daughter complained and they apologized and said it wouldn't happen again because my daughter was going to take her out of the facility. Yesterday my mom informed my daughter they told my mom there is a cut off time of 10:30pm to go to the bathroom and my mom once again pee'd on herself and when they came to change her they shamed her for it. My daughter discharged my mom yesterday due to their neglect of my mom. Please make sure you check with the state or do more research before you put your loved one's in this facility because if you don't you will regret your decision like we do.

My loved one has been a happy resident at Fort Bend Health Care Center since 2019. The staff and management go the extra mile to make residents feel safe, cared for, and engaged with the daily activities and celebrations. Communication received from the staff is always immediate and thorough. I highly recommend this place.

My mother has been at Fort Bend Healthcare for eight years, as far we can tell, she likes her placement. Actually, at one time, a social worker persuaded her to move to another facility. No, no, no! Within two weeks, she was back "home". The feeling of love between her and the staff is mutual. I have seen more than one, passing by her door, come in, kiss her on the top of her head and, continue on down the hall. So sweet!! There are things I would do differently for her. I can't take care of her, though, and staff is so busy, all these "little" things means alot to me. I have no plans to ever move her.

My mom had an accident and she is now in a nursing home. She is at Fort Bend Healthcare Center. She was taken over there after being in a rehab facility. First of all, we know an individual that is already there and so we've gotten good feedback from that person and the relative that we know. My mom knows the other individual that's there and now she's going to be in the same room with that person. That I think would ease her transition. Fort Bend Healthcare Center is a type of place, if you were just to see it, at first impression, it's an older building. I think it was probably built in the 1970s. It's one story. It looks like a ranch-style house, but it's very small. When you look at it, it's one of those deals where you probably shouldn't judge the book by its cover type of thing because it doesn't impress you really from the way it looks. It's the quality of care that is important, and that's what's going on there. I don't have a whole lot of information, but the staff seems to be very accommodating. We kinda reached out to them when she was in the rehab facility. I asked if she would be able to potentially room with this other person and they kinda accommodated her on that, which we appreciated. I spoke with one of the head nurses there and the physical therapist and they both seem like they'll be giving my mom good care, which is our number one concern. So far, everything is really good. I'm not sure what we're going to run into down the road. Our goal is to have this be a short-term rehab for 90 days to a 100 days while she has skilled nursing care there that's covered by Medicare. If she can get better and get out, we'll go from there. If not, she may have to stay there, and I'm sure at that point you have to start paying.

The staff at Fort Bend Healthcare have always been friendly and helpful. They interact with the residents as much as possible. Mrs. Cook has been extremely helpful. She has helped us tremendously with all of the paperwork involved with Medicaid. The residents play bingo every week, celebrate birthdays monthly, and have a happy hour monthly. They are given cake, cookies, popcorn, fruits, and juice during certain times of the month. There is a carnival every year and a Christmas meal with the families and residents also every year. They also take them to the Fort Bend County Fair senior citizens day. They ask the residents if they want to participate. All in all, we know that our loved one is being taken care of on a daily basis.

Facility is clean and provides a homelike environment. Families and friends enjoy outdoor patios. Residents actively participate in daily activities: bingo, arts and crafts. Especially enjoy karaoke and music provided . Some residents are able to go out of the facility and they comment about their outings. Residents are preparing and are very excited about approaching holidays and getting to help with decorating the facility . Many are making jewelry and other items to sale . Recently my aunt refused to come for rehab however when she was discharged she was very sad and wished she could have stayed with her new friends. Very good reputation of facility.

Rooms were clean, neat, and the staff did a great job of making our uncle feel like he was more than just a patient while he was there. The food was very good and tailored to his preferences. Although a variety of activities take place daily, his favorite seemed to be Bingo.
