I can't say enough good things about 'Villa'. We moved mom there when she was 100 years old and they cared for her, andvus until mom suffered s stroke at almost 102. They were kind, caring and loving. It is like leaving family. Never hesitate one minutes to put your loved one in their care.

Once Platinum which is daydra management in Wylie took over the Villa Asunción the care and everything really went also. You do not want your loved one to be there with a company that is only in the business for the money and trying to get rich off our parents or families money. Trust me they care less about the elderly only the elderly bank account. They remolded the facility very nice but a pretty place with crappy care isn’t worth the amount they are asking. If the owners do not have compassion then nor will the employees. Enter with caution and pay attention.

Agree with another reviewer that the Villa Asuncion has gone COMPLETELY downhill following the purchase by the new owners. I would avoid this place at all costs. My Mom and Dad were there when the old owners/managers ran the place. They cared for the residents and took care of them. I gave out Christmas bonuses to the workers for the great job they did. THEN, the place was sold. New management took over and most of the caring staff quit. One day 8 of the old employees just walked out. It did not take long to find out why. After the Feb 2021 ice storm, they shipped my Dad to another facility. They told me he was going to one in Farmersville, but actually sent him to another (without even telling me about it). I went looking for him, only to find out he wasn't where I was told he would be. To make matters worse, a month later I get a phone call from the Business Mgr telling me that Dad (who was on hospice) was not welcome back at the Villa. What? So, they kicked out a guy who was dying. That sums it all up. Now, the new owners only care about the money and have more than doubled the cost you must pay. I hope they go under. Dad is now at a new facility in Farmersville and we couldn't be happier. Stay away from the Villa Asuncion.

The new owners are terrible people. Rates for current tenants are being raised over $1,000.00, where most can not afford and have will to move. The evacuation back in February and replacement of these tenants was handled VERY poorly. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST! I will be requesting that the State investigate.

My mom was in Villa Asuncion Retirement Center for a couple of years. We had no complaints. The pricing was awesome, it's a lot cheaper, and they had a bigger room. It's privately owned, and we just loved it. They do exercise, Bingo, play games, people come in and sing, and Christmas and birthday parties. We really liked it. It's not really fancy, but for the price, it's very homey, and when you walk in, it feels like home.

We already knew someone from Villa Asuncion Living Center. They have great care, it's very clean, and it's inexpensive. The people that work there seem like family. They made us feel right at home. The manager took us on a tour of the facility and he has never been too busy to take my phone calls. The rooms are not big because my mother is in a memory care lock down facility. So she needed a smaller room and she doesn't need a lot of places to lose things. She has both Alzheimer's and dementia and she's bipolar.
