We picked Live Oak Senior Care for my mother-in-law. We were worried that she wasn't going to be able to stay there because she needed further care than what we thought. However, she got a little bit better once they fixed her medications, and she is able to stay at this facility. It's an assisted living and memory care facility, and she is in the memory care part. I don't really know about the food and the staff, but I haven't had any complaints. Overall, the staff has been great. Behavior wise, there were a lot of issues with my mother-in-law, but they helped us as much as they could with that. The overall facility is really nice. My mother-in-law's room is nice. She has a 1-bedroom apartment with her own stuff. We're just now beginning our relationship with Live Oak Senior Care, and so far, everything has been fine. It's a small facility with 41 beds, and we really like that. They have activities, but I don't know what they all are. This has just worked out for her, where it's located and its overall size.

We chose Live Oak Senior Care for Mom because they had the best COVID prevention, and it's a beautiful facility. They're just outstanding. We were so impressed with the facilities themselves, the care that they've offered, and the owner. It was in my mother's price range for her care. It was way above all the others we had looked at. It's assisted and memory care, but she's in the assisted part. We've been very impressed. Outsiders are not allowed to eat with them yet, but my mom said the food is good. The activities have been good for her. They're not as full blown as they will be because of COVID, but they've been a lot more open than most other facilities because they didn't have one COVID case. The price is a little high compared to the others, but my mom is not in the level one care, so it's fine. It's absolutely the most beautiful place I have seen. It was the best for us and for Mom.

Live Oak Assisted Living was congenial and had many activities going on. They had a game room and also some singing going on. They had facilities that were more for the groups that live there. It seemed like an interactive place.

Live Oak is a brand new facility. I had a very positive visit with this facility. It's very clean and very spacious. It seems very warm and welcoming. The only negative about this facility is that because the place is so new, they have very few residents and I know that would not be conducive for my dad because my father needs a lot of activities and needs a lot of attention, but I would definitely recommend this place.
