I toured White Acres. Everyone seemed happy there and seemed to like the accommodations that they had. The people that I spoke to seemed pretty nice. They have a lot of activities for the residents. The room was satisfactory. It was a little small to my liking, but not too bad. It seemed taken care of fairly decent. The staff was helpful and nice. I purchased some cookies that one of the residents was selling. I didn't look too much outside, it was more of the stuff on the inside, the accommodations, like the rec room, their game room, the TV room, and arts and crafts.

I'm moving in here. It's a duplex with a two-car garage. None of the others that we saw were like that, that's why we picked that plus it's only two miles away, so it's not a big move. They've got a swimming pool and a gym, but there's a gym a quarter of a mile away and there's a YMCA swimming pool and that's less than a mile away. We are just trying to move in, so we don't know what's all available. We know we got a maid. The maid's been over cleaning and they've been painting and all kinds of stuff. This housing unit is 4 years old and there are only four units that are duplex. It's a small one. Then they have apartments and other stuff on their facility, but we are kind of on the edge of the facility. They have a dining area available. We are not on any food plan or anything like that. We got our own kitchen and we'll cook our own stuff mostly. We didn't really have a tour. We went over there, looked at where we'd be staying and then we looked at an apartment if we wanted a two-bedroom apartment, but we didn't like that. They were good. They weren't perfect, but they had two salespeople and they answered questions and stuff like that. They didn't do a big selling job trying to sell us or anything because it just became available. There were four parties wanting it and the one that put the money down was the one that got it, so that was us. I didn't see anything wrong with anybody. There were areas you're not allowed into because of Covid, so it's not like you can just go through and tour it. They're very cautious about that. There was only one place open and that's the one we got, and it was in very good shape and a lady lived in there. They were very cooperative. They're painting and they did all kinds of stuff. They moved the thermostat, so we could put our television in a certain area. I'm going to put my electric car power charger in the garage and I'm getting somebody to install it for me. They don't have any problem with that.

It's very nice. The staff is very nice, so are the residents. There's a lot of options for arts and crafts and exercise for my mother as well. She will move into independent living shortly. They've got water-aerobics. They've got painting, which my mom does, as well as other arts and crafts things. I smelled the food, and it definitely made me hungry. The dining area is very nice, spacious, well-lit, and welcoming.

My Father had been a resident at this facility for over two years. I am blessed we found this place, my Father loves it and they did a wonderful job on keeping the residents safe on this pandemic. They might have been the safest in El Paso. I would recommend this place 100 percent.

A found White Acres for my brother-in-law, and he died. They were great. I was able to observe the physical therapy and the interaction between the staff and the patients. They were not just hanging out in the room unlike some. I was impressed by the nursing staff; they were tremendous. The atmosphere was just very pleasant.

Everything was really good here. It was highly recommended. I thought their living quarters were very nice. They were in good size for a couple or a single person. The staff was very good and very friendly. Their dining area was restaurant style. I knew they had activities for the people that lived there like bingo, movie night, entertainment for them, and they took them out for dinner.
