My wife was in Franklin Heights after a stroke and the staff there let her get a very bad bed sore on her butt as it turned black as the result of dead skin, also she is a diabetic and they let her blood sugar level drop so low she was incoherent and they tried to give her orange juice by mouth and she was choking on the juice, also the worst was the nurse on the west side stopped giving her her insulin and she went into diabetic shock and ended up in the hospital in critical condition DO NOT LET YOUR LOVED ONES GO TO FRANKLIN HEIGHTS

My father is in this facility and his health is getting worse. The staff doesn't care. I asked them to take my dad to the Hospital and they said he is fine!!!! Not true. They denied me information regarding his current situation. He is not eating and his blood sugar is higher than it has ever been. There is no doctor on site. I am extremely worried the place is dirty and smells horrible.. it's dark and extremely depressing. THEY DON'T CARE!!!!!! THIS PLACE SHOULD GET 0 STAR'S AND THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT SHOULD BE CALLED IN TO INVESTIGATE.

If I could give this place zero stars I would, had a loved one placed here for rehab after being released from the hospital.. The staff would take half an hour just to help her go to the restroom, we went in one night and she was completely over dosed on medications .. They did not want to send her to the emergency room so I had to call ems myself and demand her out, the hospital said she was indeed overdosed on medication, my loved one is gone thanks to this place!

My father was referred here for rehab after knee replacement surgery. The staff is rude, disrespectful, & non-attentive. The facility itself has deplorable conditions. I wouldn't send my worse enemy there, let alone someone I love. Upon his release from the hospital, we were told my father would have to be on oxygen, 24/7. When he arrived at Franklin, he was there without oxygen for 2 hours because the nurses failed to read his orders & the medical director was gone for the day. At dinner time, they propped my father's leg, the one that he'd just had operated, on a trashcan. The rehab patients are co-mingled with the regular residents, so it was of no surprise when a resident with dementia walked right into my father's room. Although he hadn't been administered any pain meds & wasn't feeling well,, my father was forced to get up to walk. When he asked if he could lay down, the nurse told him no, & that she was the nurse therefore he had to do as she said. Shall I go on? Yes, I shall. One last thing, there are mega-sized roaches in the dorm areas & we saw one on top of the water fountain. The aforementioned events aren't all inclusive; however, I wanted to touch upon the most important. We called 911 & had the paramedics transfer him to the hospital that same night after we were told he would be released without oxygen.

My mom is in a facility called Franklin Heights. They're wonderful. My mom just turned 92 on Sunday, and I owe it all to the good caring and compassionate nursing staff that they have there. I can't say enough about the staff. They have great activities for the seniors. They keep them on a regular schedule. My mom has physical therapy. The facility itself is great. My mom was having problems with the break on her wheelchair, we sent for somebody for maintenance, and it was fixed within 5 minutes. The communication is excellent. What's really good about it is that they will call you periodically and they'll ask if there are any complaints about the meals, the staff, or the service. Also they have great social services where they worked with my mom with the finances and getting her in. They've been super.

My mom was there for rehab after a foot surgery, Our experience was horrible!!! since day 1, the admitting personnel treated my mother disrespectfully. There was commotion all night long, it seemed like the staff wasnt even monitoring the patients. My mom didnt even last a week there. When her foot doctor demanded they release her, they gave her a hard time and even threatened that she would lose all her benefits if she left. in her short time there she didnt recieve her medicines on time, ever!!! She could walk, she needed assistance to use the restroom, they would take her to the restroom and leave her there despite her constant calling. Please do not leave your loved ones there!

We brought my late Father here after two horrible experiences at Cambria and Desert Springs (see my other reviews). The staff at Franklin was wonderful and went to great lengths to care for my father who was in the late stages of Alzheimer's. This facility spent it's income on hiring quality workers instead of making the place look really nice. We should have had my father in this facility to begin with. I will always be eternally grateful to the staff at Franklin for the care my father received.

Our experience there was awful. It was as if the night staff was a having a party all night long, yet when a patient needed it they took forever to come. My mother was in a lot of pain and she never got her medication on time because she would call them and they wouldn't come until 1/2 to 1 hour later. My advice: don't leave your loved ones there and if you do keep a good eye on them.
