Most staff that worked with my Mom acted as if they did not care for her, and basically left her to care for herself. I was shocked how old the beds were, with rust, and how filthy the rooms were. Looked as if they had not swept or mopped in weeks! There were actually stains on the floor. It was disgusting to say the least! They also admitted my Mom and didn't have the correct physician orders with needed meds. I had to call the referring doctor and then the facility to make sure they were correct in their care and meds. Please do not allow your loved one to stay here. This place is old, and disgusting. It needs to be shut down by the state of Texas!

We've had my husband's Mother at Conroe Health Care Center for several years and have nothing but praise for the Care they have provided. During difficult and challenging times caring for our 90 year old loved one, we felt like CHCC was the best place for her, and for us. It's a smaller facility, but upon our first visit, after hearing good comments from residents and staff, and how clean it smelled and neat everything was (unplanned visit), we chose CHCC. Even though my Mother-in-law had her challenges, the staff were very careful, respectful and professional in all of our communications and to ensure our Elder received safe and appropriate care. The Administrator Tamra went above and beyond to make sure Mom was and felt cared for in all areas. She and her staff were very easy to reach and quick to respond. Nursing Leaders Jessica and Sharon were tops in our book and made sure her physical, psychosocial and even spiritual and emotional needs were attended to. Business Office Manager Audrey was excellent and responsive to help us navigate through the paperwork and monetary challenges. And they have an awesome Social Worker Karyn who was always involved and made sure social needs were addressed. They all checked on Mom throughout the day. Terri went beyond her role of receptionist and was the Best to ensure communications were passed along and people were greeted and scanned etc during challenging year of Covid. We had the best House-Keeping/Laundry Team and I can honestly say that even in 2 years, all of her clothes are well cared for and her room has been clean. The Nurses Aids have done a great job, and even when Mom was in bed for an extended time due to health issues, they have kept her from any skin breakdown. She thought of you as part of her family. Kudos to the Maintenance Team as well especially keeping the tv working! Everyone is like family! Dietary and Cafeteria Workers tried their best to please the pickiest of eaters and we know you try your best! Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, THANK YOU! for working gently with our Seniors! And much appreciation to the Nursing Staff who have treated our Mom like your own: Your sacrifices and professional expertise with your patients show your heart: Andrea B., Virna F., Martha S, Amanda B and others. Although we don't know all the names, we appreciate you all! It's time for our Mom to move closer to her daughters in another State but we want to shout out the Great Work you have all done in caring for our Mom. She told us today that this was a very nice place and some very special people here and that she is really going to miss it here. THANK YOU for allowing to have peace of mind that she was well cared for.

The staff is super friendly very accommodating. And on top of every thing they didnt let my mom mix her meds or be over medicated . The nurse there named Virna sings all the time very beautiful voice. My mom just loves it here . And shes happy and we are happy that nurses care Thank you Virna . She is above what other nurses are it makes a diferance when you have tp leave your relatives in hands you need to trust.

My mother was at Conroe Health Care Center for two months. It was a good, older facility but relatively clean. They had a pretty good staff there.

I THINK THAT THIS FACILITY IS OK BUT THEY DON'T SEEM TO KNOW THERE PATIENTS VERY WELL WHEN ASK REGARDING MEDICATION NO ONE GIVES THE SAME ANSWER. I WISHED THAT THETY WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO SIT DOWN AND GO OVER THINGS WITH US BUT THAT NEVER HAPPENS. I ALSO THINK THAT THEY COULD KEEP THE PLACE CLEANER. THE FOOD IS OK AND MOST OF THE STAFF SEEM TO BE OK WE JUST NEED MORE ONE ON ONE WHEN REGARDING THE PATIENT! I ALSO THINK THAT THEY NEED TO KEEP A CLOSE CHECK ON THE PATIENTS WHO THEY ARE IN THE ROOM WITH AND WHEN ONE OF THEM IS SICK THEY NEED TO DO WHAT THEY CAN TO KEEP THE OTHER ONE FROM GETTING SICK TO.

My mother-in-law fell and she's getting therapy at Conroe Health Center. The staff is really good. They're pretty open about everything. They keep the facility clean. However, their food needs to have a little more upgrade. It's okay but they need more of a variety. But other than that it's a really good place. Right now, she's in a room with another lady. The facility is clean and the staff is very friendly.
