Kendall House (Morningside Ministries at Menger Springs) is wonderful and it's been great. They bring in entertainment, people coming in to sing, they play Bingo, and chess. He eats three times a day there. I like the care and the cleanliness. They're pretty pricey though.

My mother went to Morningside Ministries at Menger Springs - Kendall House Wellness and Rehabilitation from the hospital. She did really well the first three weeks she was there. She was doing the therapies and everything, but then there was a lot of management change. There was a lot of people that left. On the weekends and some evenings, they would be bringing in temp agencies, so there was no continuity of care. They had the therapists stacked with so many clients. They had the occupational t...

Morningside Ministries at Menger Springs - Kendall House was great and expensive, but it's probably one of the best ones in all of Boerne. The staff, activities people, people who prepared the meals and even the cleaning crew were all great and nice. The community was great but small with only 40 occupants, so it seemed like they had enough CNAs, which is pretty good for a nursing home. My mom's room was fine. She has been in Kendall House for a couple of months now. I was impressed that it was better than I expected. It is very nice and clean. The people seem to be good to the people who are in there. I haven't heard of any complaints. They keep trying to make her stand, but it hurts and she doesn't want to. She is 92 and just had a stroke, and she is not doing really well. I don't think it is anybody's fault; it's just the way it is. It doesn't smell bad, and it seems to be running fairly smoothly. ...

Near-new facility with excellent nurse-to-patient ratio. Bright cheerful rooms, all with private bath. Caring staff.
