Provident Memory care rates a 5 star review. My husband was there for 3 1/2 years and had excellent care. They monitored his meds and discussed with me when they thought he needed a change in meds. Every one was so caring. They interacted with the residents and truly paid attention to them. Plus they accommodated us when we wanted to bring in food or celebrate a birthday. When my husband passed you could see the sadness in their faces and we hugged and cried together. Their caring meant so much to me

Provident Memory Care at Signal Hill was excellent. The director, Deanna, was very professional, very transparent, and very honest. We very much appreciated her integrity and directness. She was very thorough. The room was inadequate for what we were looking for. It was just a half bath with no shower (there's a public shower for assisted showering). The cleanliness was very impressive. It was very clean and it seemed like they had a very nice menu and the facility was very quaint and very personal.

Sodalis at Dripping Springs had the setup that I liked, but it was smaller. It was next to a rock yard where they sell a bunch of rocks and things like that. It's in more of an industrial area, even though it didn't feel that way once you got there. But some of the rooms looked out into the rock yard, and it didn't seem quite accommodating.

I really enjoyed the lady who showed me around. She was very straightforward and honest. I like that the place was small and not fancy. My mother was very old and very introverted. She did not want a lot of social stuff. Nevertheless, they already had bed alarms and furnished with hospital beds. For our needs, it was perfect. The staff in the office was great. Apparently, a staff member had their father-in-law there, so to me, that spoke volumes. They also cooked the food from scratch in the kitchen. I like the place. It was very plain, but it was very functional and easy for residents to get through.
