I moved my mom to Townhall Estates in Arlington in May. After having my mom in another facility. Townhall Estates is so much better. Where in the other facility my mom wouldn't eat but here at Townhall Estates she eats good. The room is spacious enough that we could bring some of mom's personal items to make feel homey. The nursing staff is very patient with mom even though she gives them a hard time with her hygiene care. I can't say enough good thing about staff from the housekeeping to the administrator. Signed by one very happy daughter.

Never allow your loved one to go to this place. My brother was dropped off here from another facility who did not give us a chance to choose facilities. He was there one week, from Thursday to Thursday. During that time, I had a nurse ask for my assistance with doing her job, there were rodent droppings on the windowsill, the food was awful (old and hard), and it never matched the menu on the tray. The night he was rushed to the hospital, because he had contracted MRSA, his cell phone and one of his shirts was stolen, they said the shirt was probably in the laundry, but they had never gotten him out of bed and dressed him. All of his clothes were new, never worn. The office personnel wasn't very accommodating when I needed to talk with someone in charge, a decision maker.

Worst place to ever take your loved ones, they have bugs and the food is horrible. They are always eating the same thing every week

My father spent seven weeks at Town Hall Estates after having surgery. The staff was incredible! Within two weeks of his stay six employees spent two hours with my dad and brother making sure that he was happy with his care. My dad has been at two other rehab facilities, and this one is absolutely his preference. Also, where is it took me 24 phone calls and 13 days to get in home care when dad was released from one facility, The social worker at Town Hall Estates was on top of it! Dad had in-home care arranged the day after he was released. No facility is perfect, but Townhall estates tries to be as perfect as they can be to meet the needs of each individual patient. They also do an incredible job keeping family informed.

I had a friend in Town Hall Estates. The room was small and cramped, but I think that's true of probably most places. She was in the nursing home, and she was there for hospice. I was impressed with it for what she was there for and what I saw as far as the care. The nurses and staff were visible to anybody. There was a nurse station so you know that you can find a nurse immediately, which was great. They also had extra food out in the dining room so you could go and get a snack for your friend. There were two people in a room, but I think they have private rooms, too. My friend I was visiting was in a double room. The nurse was very responsive to what I needed and whatever needed to be done. However, the facility was older.

Moved my mother here after a nightmare experience at Arbrook Plaza. Best decision ever!! Again I recommend to families to do their research. People here really care and do their best!

My Dad has been in Town Hall Estates for 4 months so far. I can't say enough about the high quality of care that he is receiving here. The staff is truly wonderful. The administrators are knowledgeable, understanding, kind and caring. The nursing staff and aids go well above and beyond in taking care of the residents and in communicating with the family on everything that is going on. The cleaning crews do an excellent job in keeping everything clean and shiny and sweet smelling. The facility itself is very pretty, the halls are wide and well lit and the outdoor courtyards are well maintained and pleasant. The food is really good and the menu is changed often, not repetitious.

My father is allowed to stay in bed with the lights out because they don't bother with encouraging him to get up. He has gotten weekend in the 3 weeks he's been there. There are no patient phones and no Cable TV nor will they allow Cable TV. The forced my dad to sign a waiver because he was eating pureed pleasure food like the doctor said he could but the therapist overrode the doctor's orders and since he has that in his file now no one else will accept him! Very rude administration!

This is not the place to put your loved one if need anything more than a sub-par babysitter. They have good intentions, but they are not capable of handling anything even remotely medical aka "skilled" ~ My father went there simply to get stronger after a heart procedure at MCA and by day 7, he had a UTI, by day 14, he had lost 10 lbs, was severely dehydrated, malnourished, had a new bed sore to add to 2 that they exacerbated all to LEVEL 3, and had MRSA. By day 20 (4 days after they have a "care plan" meeting with me where basically they report to me how terribly they cared for him by going over their own results), they kicked him out aka "discharged" him because his medicare insurance no longer was paying their bill. If anyone doesn't see the blatant injustice in how they made him sick-er to the when all they were supposed to help make him stronger...

Mom was at Towne Hall Estates Arlington, and it was a good facility, but Mom progressed more quickly when we moved her in there, and she needed a locked down facility. The rooms are very nice, and I have no complaints with them at all. In fact, my step-father might go back there if anything happens to Mom.

Mother had Alzheimer's and was in Town Hall Estates and she passed away last December. They were really good. They took care of her as best as she could be taken care of. We had meetings every three months for her evaluation so they tell me how she was doing. She had to have her food pureed because she had trouble chewing and the food that I saw was okay. Most of the staff that worked there had been there for a while which to me was a good thing. The facility didn't smell when you walked into it. They always decorated for Christmas and Thanksgiving. They would hang stuff in the ceiling and on the walls and they'd decorate the area where they ate. I went up there a couple of times on Sunday mornings and they'd have different groups come in and they have a little church service and singing. They had a beauty shop there, too.

We had my stepfather in Town Hall Estates. It was right next to the hospital where he was, so it was conveniently located.. The staff was very good. I liked that the nurses kept me informed of everything about my stepfather at that time. They did have average-sized rooms. They also have indoor activities for their patients. The only thing they could improve on was food. It looked like it had just been thrown together on a plate.

Town Hall Estates was one of the places that we love. The place is just nearby. It's a skilled nursing facility and everything is excellent. The food is also excellent. I can't say anything bad about it. The staff are helpful, caring, and persistent. The rooms are clean and they have people cleaning them regularly. I like the feeling that everything is provided and no worries about the care that she is getting. They just need a little better communication with the family.
