Tender Care Home for Adults 1 was nice. That's more of a group home setting. The staff seemed very knowledgeable. It's very neat and clean. I liked the fact that they had all the women in one house. It wasn't mixed with male and female. The lady was very nice and was willing to work with my mother if she went back from the hospital. It's a three- or four-bedroom house. It's pretty large with a nice-sized backyard, and they have a nice sitting area. She had it pretty well upgraded.

We toured Tender Care Home for Adults. It turns out that this was a group home and not independent living. It was an interesting experience. They were not motor-wheelchair friendly, which is what my mother uses. It's a house that's converted into a facility. The hallways were narrow because the house was built in the 1950s. It was not what my mom and grandma needed. The bedrooms are really small. The staff who assisted me was very kind, but it took a while for her to understand what our needs were, and when she finally figured it out, she was like, 'Oh yeah, this wasn't going to work for you all.'
