Food TERRIBLE facility is very nice but if you want good food don’t rent here. The managment just doesn’t care about the food. There have been multiple complaints bet no results. I wouldn’t rent here.

Garden Plaza of Green Briar Cove is nice. It's like a hotel. The lobby is fine. I like it. They have a large saltwater swimming pool. They tell me that the people who have arthritis would go down there and sit in that pool and because it's very humid and warm, it helps their joints, so that's nice. They offer two meals a day, full kitchens, carpeted rooms, and independent heating and air conditioning. They have a nice restaurant downstairs. They have a big area beside the front entrance for seating if you want to go down there and sit close to the front door. They also have a library and a pool table. They got a theater. They have a piano. The staff who took me around was friendly and professional. They have barbecue pits there that you can barbecue up. They have some outside grills that you can grill out if you want to.

Garden Plaza of Greenbriar Cove was a beautiful setting. The facilities were excellent. The admissions person was excellent, very kind, and very helpful. The accommodations were excellent. I don't remember exactly what the activity was, but there was interchange and discussion. They were very focused on that and having a good time. They took me on a tour of the cafeteria, the dining room, exercise room, the library, and a couple of the different types of rooms. They offered the standard features. There was a pretty extensive walking trail, gathering spots with tables and chairs on the patio, and a variety of benches at various points.

We visited Garden Plaza of Greenbriar Cove, which an excellent place with separate buildings depending on needs. At this point, it would be our favorite. It’s fairly new. The people are very friendly. The atmosphere when you walk in the door makes you feel like you’re in a luxury hotel. It’s beautiful. The girl that showed us around introduced us to other people that work there who stopped and visited with us for quite a while. We talked with some of the residents for a little while, and they all love it there and were trying to convince us that we needed to move there. We were very impressed. The units were nice and had quite an assortment of different-sized rooms, like one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms. This was probably the nicest of the places that we have seen.

It was a very nice place, very nicely furnished, and up-to-date. They had an indoor pool, a fitness facility, and good floor plans, the rooms were beautiful, and they had an outdoor recreation area. My daughter and her family live in the Chattanooga area, and Garden Plaza of Green Briar Cove is very close to their home, which was also a convenience.

I haven't moved my mother here yet, but she does like the Garden Plaza. I thought it was lovely. It's relatively new; it's only 3 or 4 years old. It's very pretty and the staff was very pleasant. The rooms are a little better size.

My parents moved in at Garden Plaza of Green Briar Cove in October of last year. They have been there for eight months now. I picked this place because it is absolutely gorgeous. It truly is like resort living. I knew my parents would be thrilled to live there. It is strikingly beautiful. It is a three-floor facility with beautiful outdoor gardens and a large lake out front with fountains. It is well appointed with a library. The staff is fabulous. They truly have been so lovely and gracious about anything we ask. They have all kinds of game rooms of different sizes on every floor for the convenience of the families and their guests. One of the things I really enjoyed is that they have soft piped-in music throughout the hallways that is music from the era of my parents. That is just delightful. The big thing was that my parents were able to get a two-bedroom, two-full-bath apartment. I attended town hall meetings in their dining room, where they also have entertainment for my parents. It is white tablecloth and linen napkin dining. It is absolutely lovely. However, the one area that my parents complained about continually was the food. They have gone through a couple of head chefs, and my parents were not happy with the food selections. There is a wide selection, but some of it is more Southern cooking.
