My friend moved in. It's not big. There might be 20-something rooms or more. And, they sit out on the porch and talk and she seems to be happy there. They're just one room and they're not big. They have a TV, a stove and a microwave in them. They played bingo and they did puzzles.

Southern Heritage Assisted Living doesn't offer any services of any kind, and the utilities are not included in the price. I like that they have a washer and dryer and that it's a little bit larger than the other place. It was clean and very nice. They don't provide any food though.

We toured Southern Heritage Assisted Living. It was probably my least favorite of all that I visited because it was just kind of out of style. It didn't have a lot of privacy. If you wanted to live in a crowd of people, I guess it would be good, but I kind of felt it was too crowded. The facilities were very small. They were outdated. The staff was nice.

I toured Southern Heritage. The grounds were very nice and pretty. The staff was very accommodating. We found nothing that we would consider a negative. The room they showed was a studio apartment. They had a common area, a TV room, and very pleasant-looking outside grounds. Everything was in good condition. It was not a brand new facility but it was well-maintained. Everything was clean, neat, and very inviting.

I just like everything about it. Plus, the lady who took me on the tour was just super. I thought the building was really nice and really good. They showed me one room with a bath and a nice little closet. Just about everything that I need will be there, and even the bus line. There's a bus line when I have to go out. The people who already lived there were like in the dining room, and they told me that all the time they were always doing something. They told me a lot of things that go on. There's bingo, and just being able to be around somebody and go sit on the porch, things like that. They do great. The staff who gave the tour was really nice and really good.

It was nice. It's in my neighborhood, so it's real convenient for everything that I need. The staff was reasonable. The rooms were small. You go in and there's like an entrance, and then there's the dining room. Their dining kind of reminded me of a restaurant where there were tables and chairs. It was a nice place. It was just smaller than I would want. It was very clean.

The overall tour I had was very good. I was impressed with the facility. Everything was clean and the people were friendly. We just had two reservations about the place. One was they had a very small room. It's a single room, almost like an efficiency apartment or studio apartment. The other drawback was for my brother, you can't smoke on the premises at all. You've got to leave the premises. You can't even just go outside on the porch. You've got to physically leave the premises and that was the deal breaker for him. The manager was very professional and very nice. He answered all of our questions, walked us through the entire facility, and told us about how some of the meals were brought in, and everything that was included in the cost. I have nothing but positive feedback for the staff. The facility seemed to be well maintained. You can sit down and eat in the dining area or you can take it back to your room. It was nice. There were some other apartments that we didn't see, but you could tell they were doing some renovations. Everything we saw, like the common areas, the hallways, and the apartment that they showed us was nice. I would live in it and it's kind of my standard.

It was a very homey and nice facility. Everything was very good. The staff who toured us around was very helpful. There was activity going on, and the people looked like they were having fun.
