Oak Haven was nice and felt a lot more like a family because it's small and family-owned. They're all very nice. It was a cross between a nursing home and assisted living. The food there was great and like country food. They didn't have a formal dining room. It was more cafeteria-style. They had some activities but not as much as other places. It was more like country living.

I would highly endorse Oakhaven. It is a really wonderful place. It is out in the country but still very up-to-date. It offers a lot of privacy. They have many good activities for their residents. The accommodations are just excellent. They are very roomy and clean. You can even have your own furniture in them. As far as I know, the staff members are very competent, but I didn't really deal with them enough. However, my cousin is an RN and her father-in-law lives in Oakhaven and they're very happy with the staff. I have nothing but good things to say about this place.
