My mother-in-law moved into Walking Horse Meadows. It looks clean and smells good. They have different activities daily there. They have a beauty place and a nice activity room in the front. The dining room was really nice. They are starting a library. The staff was very friendly. I tried the food on the first day, and it was really good. She says some of it is not as great as the first day, but they did have a really good salad last night. Her room is nice. It's a good size for her. We have to try and get her some seats today. They left us a little note for that. They're communicating decently. It's expensive.

Walking Horse Meadows is very, very nice and very well kept. My wife's room is very well-maintained and comfortable. The food service is excellent. They serve very good nutritious food. The staff is very helpful, very professional, very pleasant, and friendly. There are a lot of activities that they work with the residents. They actually have a whole chart of daily activities for the entire month. So, it's very good value for the money.

Walking Horse Meadows is beautiful and clean. I would love to see my mother there. The staff was very cordial, nice, professional, and knowledgeable. I saw their cafeteria and dining room. I was very impressed with it. They had a courtyard and outside benches. They had a kitchenette in the rooms.

Walking Horse Meadows was very nice. Everybody was very friendly and very helpful. The facility was spotless. The staff was excellent. Everything was great. I saw a two-bedroom (which only one person lives in), but it was very nice.

They did not provide activities like they said they would. They did not make sure that my mother got the proper nutrition. When she had stroke & fell they just picked her up and sat her in wheelchair. They did not check her out. They didn’t get nurse, doctor or call ambulance. She was still just sitting there 2 hours later. Totally ignored

I toured the Walking Horse Meadows in Clarksville and saw their assisted living. The rooms were a little bit small, but it was a nice place. They seem like they care about the residents. The staff was also very nice. I got to see a room, the outdoor areas for the people to walk around, and the dining room. It was nicely taken care of. I like the fact that my aunt can have her dogs there and that the outdoor areas were very nice. They were set up nicely with benches and things like that.

We went to the Walking Horse Meadows. They were very nice. Rebecca is (I think) the lady that walked us around, and she answered all our questions. We got to see one of the tenant's rooms, and we spoke with her. She had a really nice room. They were adequate. It was a room with a very large bathroom. There's a bed in there with dressers, a counter, and plenty of closet space. We weren't there when they were eating, but the dining area was very nice. They had a private dining room, if they wanted to have people coming to visit. It was nice.

The Walking Horse Meadows was a really good facility. Our visit went great, but they had something going on there; they were remodelling. When you remodel, it does affect what everything looks like, but they can't help that. They've done their best to make sure that it isn't really affecting their residents any more than it has to, and they're going to be done real soon. The rooms were great and they looked really, really good, but they have an enclosed area now. It is small, but it's a beautiful little wing area. It has like a small town feel to it. I've been there twice, and the residents seemed super happy. I was looking at them to make sure that they were not over medicated too, and the residents were real interactive, even though they had a little bit of disruptive behavior, in which we may know that they're not over medicating them. I thought that it was good, that they were still interacting in their own way. I actually saw animals there too, and the staff handled disruptive behavior wonderfully. If some of the residents were anxious, the staff was willing to take them with them into their office and help them. They just seemed so accepting of anything, and I talked to everybody there, and I heard the food was really good. They offer two different plates and they let the residents look at them, and pick what they want to have. The lady that I talked to eats there, and she said the food is great as well. Out of all the places I went, Walking Horse Meadows smelled like home. It does, and it was very good.

My lasting impression with Walking Horse Meadows is that I didn't see any men. My husband is still young as he is only 65, but I only saw a lot of older women just sitting around. It didn't look like a place he would fit in. The person who accommodated me was very good and very nice. The place was clean, but it wasn't very cheerful. It was just OK.

My sister-in-law and her husband have moved into Walking Horse Meadows. They're good. The staff is very nice, very cooperative, and very helpful. I like the general atmosphere. It's very clean and very organized. It is almost like a nice hotel in some ways. They have a lot of activities, and the landscape is very good.

Do not put your loved one here. We placed my father in the memory care side on Aug. 5th and he passed away on Aug. 26th. He walked in fairly healthy physically but did not live long. The staff has no clue about how to deal with an advanced case of dementia, especially men. They complained about him from day one and called us numerous times to come and basically do their job for them. I would not put my dog in this place. The head nurse was extremely rude. Also, my dad was able to leave the memory care side several times and no one notified us of those instances. Their answer to memory care is to medicate the patients so that the staff isn't bothered. It was one of the most terrible experiences that my family has ever faced.

My dad is living in Walking Horse Meadows. It's clean, the furniture really accents for the type of residents they have there, and there's a very pleasant smell when you walk in. The staff is amazing. The dining area is exceptionally clean and they have a 5-star gourmet chef who offers three different types of meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner to where the residents have more freedom to pick food. They do little workshops like woodworking, plumbing stuff, memory trivia, and physical and speech therapy. They have a salon and manicure people come in and trim their nails. They give free cable, do the laundry, nd spot clean throughout the week, but they also try to get the resident out of the room to do a deep clean of the room.

I was unimpressed with Walking Horse Meadows. They had people in wheelchairs lined up across the entryway and hallway just staring at each other. There was no interaction and no talking going on. It was a horror show. They look demoralized, nobody was laughing or smiling, they just had dead eyes. It was not pleasant. The rooms were fine. They just didn't have an outgoing atmosphere and it was not a place to put my mother. They should get the people out of the hallways and entryways and get them something to do because they look like they were just sitting there waiting to die. The dining area was small but nice. The person who showed us around was pleasant enough, but she knew that they had issues.

We were looking for a place for my brother-in-law and were able to visit Walking Horse Meadows. I found it to be a very peaceful and caring place. The staff was very nice to show me around and were interacting with the residents there. I saw their activities and was able to have a very good lunch. The residents seemed all settled in, and everybody made me feel very welcome. The place was very nice and clean. They can provide privacy when they need it.

Walking Horse Meadows was beautifully decorated, very bright, smelled normal inside, and the room had nice hardwood laminate floor in it. It's mostly assisted living. The main thing I was concerned with was they had staff who would assist with activities of daily living, and it was more affordable. There will be aides there for my mom there all the time. I was told they have a small van, but it wasn't handicap-accessible; however, they have a doctor on-site who comes once a month.

Walking Horse Meadows is a very nice place. The rooms seemed more like a nursing home, but they were very well taken care of. The people were nice, and the whole place was spotless.

Before my mom transferred to a nursing home, she was at Walking Horse Meadows and it was great. The food was wonderful, and the nurses were great. They would call me every time they started her on a new medication. They had different activities like bird watching, bingo, and movie nights, but my mom was not interested.

My mom is a current resident at this facility and we are all pleased with her care and her accommodations. She was no longer able to live alone and we had hired assistance, but it came to the point she needed more. She lived with my sister for a few months and then decision was made to place her here. My mom's room is nice and the bathroom is a good size. Mom was able to being her pictures and personal decor. She has made friends and likes the food. She hasnt done many activities yet but I am encouraging her to take advantage of some of them like playing cards, etc. My mom has been there since May, Just knowing that she is content and safe is awesome.

The staffing was very nice, and the rooms were extremely nice at Walking Horse Meadows. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The memory care had a different dining area than the assisted living, and it was fine.

The services that Walking Horse Meadows provide sounded pretty good, pretty standard. I talked to one person, and she was very friendly. I visited a room, and it was very nice. It was a nice sized bedroom. I think they should do more activities outside of the facility. I think all facilities need more activities outside for their residents. I would recommend that place to others because it was clean, they told me what they do or don't have, and the rooms I did visit were bright, airy, and had enough space for one person. And, I noticed that, people who could socialize with each other, that was what they were doing. They were all either in a group watching television together or in their room doing whatever. Actually, one lady had a visitor from another residence there, and I thought that was nice. They were male and female and they were able to visit each other, and I think that was a normal thing. I think some places don't allow that. Their dining area was very pleasant looking.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! However, I would like to let you know a little about our outdoor and indoor activities that we provide. We have numerous trips throughout the month as well as weekly. We go on shopping trips, movies, fishing trips, and out to the park when weather permits. We even took a group of residents to the Casino, they loved that! We offer many indoor activities too. Some residents like to stay in, so we offer bingo, cards, corn hole, arts and crafts, and we have different entertainers that come in and perform for the residents. This August we are having our 2nd annual Senior Prom. You are welcome to come by anytime and join in on the fun!

The place is nice. It has facilities to take the patients places like to the doctor and the shopping center. Also, as your needs increase, you can still stay at Walking Horse but you'll be moved to a different area where they offer more care. They also allow outside people to come in and give extra help.

Walking Horse Meadows is a pretty nice facility overall. I visited my best friend's grandmother there on several occasions and she loves it there! The air in the facility had a fresh smell to it, normally in those types of facilities there is an odor of unine or a hospital smell, I was pleasantly surprised! The staff seemed very friendly and attentive to the residents needs. The facility is nice and the goodness are very well maintained. Resident living areas are adequate size for the most part and are neat and clean. The environment seems secure, a good place for you to enroll a loved one when the time comes and not feel too terrible about it. The only thing I can think of that might be a negative is the bathroom my friends grandmother had for her room was a little small, but since I did not visit any other rooms, I can't say wether they are all like that or not, but everything else was great
