My mother is a resident of The Springs at Simpsonville. I like the fact that they've got a friendly staff. They are very accommodating, and they offer the services that my mother needs. She has a studio with a private bath. Her room is single, so she doesn't have anybody else in there. It's large enough to accommodate her bed and to also form a sitting area. They typically have an activity in the morning. Like this morning, they were going offsite to a religious service. We ate there as a family when mother checked in, and the food was really quite good. They have a marvelous activities director.

Of all the assisted living, we would've picked The Springs at Simpsonville. I love the fact that the family that built this facility is still a part of it and their presence there is just evident everywhere, in all the appointments, the furnishings, the atmosphere, just everything. It just feels wonderful. It didn't feel institutional. It felt like home. It's just right there in town. People can walk, and there's a big church right across the street and an ice cream parlor right around the corner. It is near the restaurant. It sits right in the middle of downtown.

I like The Springs at Simpsonville. My impression of the staff was very good, I talked to a bunch of them. I interacted with three of them and they're very knowledgeable, there were many of them there, and they were long-term employees. I saw the list of activities and they were going to bingo. They didn't show me the hair salon, they have one but I didn't get to see it. Their rooms were big with a good layout. It's an older facility compared to the other ones, but the most important thing is the staff and their rooms.

I went to look at The Springs at Simpsonville, it was nice. The tour was great and we really liked the place. Everything was so clean and didn't smell like urine, and everybody was so nice and pleasant. The people that worked there were very nice. The dining room was really nice, it had a great ambiance, and the food selection. We talked to the chef herself, the one that was in charge, and the food selection was amazing. We didn't eat there but we saw the menu and it looked good. They cater to a wide variety of tastes, and they have a lot of things on the menu at one time, so there's a large selection. The outside is wonderful, they have a couple of sitting areas outside. The main big one has a sitting area, and then you're looking out onto a pond, and there's a walkway that goes all the way around this pond, and it's a very large pond, and there's geese and ducks and all kinds of things, with a big fountain in the middle. The rooms are a nice size, they're not tiny, but they're not huge, they're just what you need, and they have different size rooms, like they have rooms for couples. There was even a man who lived there. He was sitting by the door hanging out and he said, "I love this place."

I visited The Springs at Simpsonville, and it was good. The staff was very good, friendly, and helpful. The facility has excellent architecture. They also have an exercise room and an outdoor walking trail. It's very well kept, and they have all levels of care.

The Springs at Simpsonville was very nice. They had similar activities compared to the other place we went, and their dining area was nice. We went outside. They had a courtyard, and it was nice too. We picked another place because the location is closer to us, but this place looks just about the same as the one we picked. In terms of security they don't have a touch pad when going in and out.

We went to the Springs at Simpsonville. It was very nice, it was a little older, but the staff was excellent. The dining room was a good size, and it looked inviting enough. They didn't have as much activities before, but they have a full time director of activities now, where they didn't have before. The parking was spread out a bit.

I have known this community for years. I am not sure who is writing some of the below as they have more seasoned staff who have cared for my friends and offer medical assistance beyond what other places provide. I would place my parent or friends here without reserve. They have some of the finest activities and events that celebrate Life and Joy I have seen. The staff at Springs treat residents like family.

My parents are in this facility. Management is very nice, but caregivers are lazy and will play with their phones instead of helping the residents who pay their salary! Kitchen staff is the worst. Rude to residents, can't serve meals at the correct temperature or on time. One of my parents is a diabetic and gets served cookies almost every afternoon. There are NO medical professionals here, just one LPN and occasionally the Doctor will visit. The "med techs" are kind if you are watching but are often snippy and unprofessional. This place needs a complete turnover, starting with the dining room staff.

This may have been a nice facility at one point in time, but recently it has gone down hill considerably. They seem to be making cuts on employees and food. They are unstaffed and the food is horrible, I am told. Caregivers don't care -- they stand around texting. There are several new facilities in the area. You may want to look elsewhere.

My mother is in The Springs at Simpsonville. She absolutely loves it. It’s excellent, very caring staff, just all-around superb care. Very good food, lots and lots of activities so she’s much more active than she could have been when she was with me. We’re very happy.

The Springs is very nice. They just opened a new wing, and they had a lot going for them as well. They did not have a physical-therapy room. They did therapy in a big room. They have an activity-director, and there’s plenty of stuff to do. They have road-trips for shopping, and sightseeing. They have transportation to go to doctor’s appointments. The marketing director was very pleasant, and gave me a nice tour. She told me the pluses, and minuses of the place.

My mother moved to the Springs last June or July. I heard a lot about this place. She shared a room with someone else, but it was always clean. They make their beds every day, and it was always kept very nice and so was the bathroom. The food is good, and they seem to enjoy it. They always have my mother up, and she’s always dressed very nice and clean. She always looked good every time I went there. All the care workers are very nice and are very respectful of the patients that are in there. They have an activities director, and she does have some outings and she’ll take them out if they want to go out to do different things.

The Springs at Simpsonville is just warm and welcoming, and everybody from the staff is very cordial, very helpful, and caring. The rooms are really nice and they let you decorate it however you want to, so we brought some things from home to make it look like mother's own home. It is a really neat and clean room, which is just bright and has a beautiful window with flowers outside to look at. It is just a very nice facility. Just the other night, they had a little prom where they gave all of the residents a corsage. They do their nails and they do flower arranging, they take them on trips just to take them out to places where they want to go, and they have a lot of things for the residents to do. One thing I like best is that the staff has ownership of the place. It is the place where they work and they enjoy it, so there is not a big turnover in the staff because they like where they work, they are happy, and so if they are happy then I am sure they are going to see after their residents. All of the staff members know all of the residents and were very involved with them.

If I could afford it, I would send my mother to the Springs at Simpsonville. The place is very nice; it's very up-to-date, very modern, and elaborate. I think it's fairly new and well-kept. At that time, we had to make an immediate decision and the price just wouldn't fit our budget to be able to take her ther. It's not that they couldn't take care of her, but we just couldn't afford their rent yet. The people there are very nice. It's really nice, but like I said, it's just above what we could afford to pay for during this time.

I would highly recommend The Springs at Simpsonville. It was a home to my mom, but I had to take her out because financially, we could no longer afford it. We were all devasted that we have to take her out.

The Springs is a very clean facility. It's brick solid foundation. It's wheelchair-handicapped accessible facility. They have a memory care and assisted living. The rooms are nice with large bathrooms. The residents are taken out for walks, to outings, to the mall or somewhere. They also have a nice area where they allow the residents to go take a walk, and they have a nice library, too. A day care center would be great for those who can't come in and do activities and enjoy those things for those who are homebound. The staff is very nice and friendly, very knowledgeable medical staff.

The facility was very clean, well kept, and up to date. The staff was very courteous. I was unable to find the patient's room and one of the staff members escorted me there. They walked me from one end of the building to the other (and the facility is fairly large). My boyfriend's grandfather was very happy there. He had his "favorites" who he would regularly joke around with. He also enjoyed spending time with the other residents. Residents and providers alike were very kind to him. He loved most of the meals, and tolerated others. It was very difficult for us to get him to take his medication, but one of the residents actually got him to do it without a fuss. I would be glad to stay there if the need arose. I actually became friends with one of the nurses there. We would discuss literature when I would visit him, and we still trade books even though I no longer go there (my boyfriend's grandfather passed away last year). If people treated each other with the kindness shown at this facility the world would be a much better place to live in.
