We're moving my parents into Brookdale Anderson. Their furniture came from Michigan. We really love it. It accommodated what they were looking for. It's a two-bedroom, very clean. The food is very good. The staff member was great, she was very, very informative, she keeps calling and checking on us. So we're very happy with that. It's a cottage, independent living. They're quarantined for 14 days. They have a place where friends and family can come and sit, they have an outdoor patio right now. They have a pool outside in the summertime that they can use. Very accommodating, all have breezeways leading to the main facility from their cottage.

Brookdale Anderson was really nice, clean, and very attractive. The staff showed me an assisted living room, which was so small that I couldn't even get my bed and sofa in there. And the prices are just so outrageous. And I was surprised to find a place like that in Anderson. The majority of the people here at Anderson would not be able to afford the prices that they had. The rooms are so small, they're like doll houses. I would not recommend it to anybody else. However, the staff seemed to be very competent, and seemed to be very knowledgeable about their responsibilities.

I toured Brookdale Anderson. It seems to be convoluted and you get lost very easily. The units were small. The lady that showed me around was very lovely and pleasant. However, I thought it was somewhat confusing the way the units are set up. The place they showed me, I would have a parking spot right in the back of it, like maybe 12 steps away. The facility was nice. The grounds were nice. But it wasn't top of the mark there. It's a bit confusing. And they didn't give you a garage that you could use to store, and I didn't get to see any two-bedroom apartments.

Brookdale Anderson looked like quite a resort, and that's good. I thought the rooms looked fine. The place was clean. They had a pool and quite a few things. This was the biggest of all the places that we visited. The staff who assisted us with the tour was very nice.

My father will be moving into Brookdale Anderson. I was just very impressed with the facility in general. They had what feels like very personal one-bedroom and two-bedroom condos. I'm really happy about the fact that he could independently use the facility and he could go to the lunch and dinner facilities. Even though he has his own personal kitchen, I wanted him to definitely have access to a good meal. He would have his own laundry room in his condo. It was a very personal space, and I just think that they were doing everything in their power to give senior citizens the right to go ahead and be on their own. In the event that he would need to be in an assisted living facility in the years to come, then he would have that accessible. The staff member was very good. She was very knowledgeable about the facility and she was very good about showing me the things that I was interested in.

We toured Brookdale Anderson. They're clean and all, but if you're in a wheelchair, it's kind of hard to move around in there because they got ramps. The room was clean, but you got a problem with space. The person who accommodated me was very nice. They got a workout room and a library. The ramp is what turned me off there.

We visited Brookdale Anderson for my daughter. The tour was great, and we had a very good tour guide. They were able to explain everything. The building was clean, but there was no diversity in terms of what we were looking for; that was not good for us. It was a good visit. I like the facility, but the lack of diversity was an issue for us. We saw a few people doing some activity. Two were watching something together on the television, and there were another group of maybe two or three that was playing some boardgame. We were not able to try the food, and we were not encouraged to schedule to try anything. We didn't have that opportunity.

Brookdale Anderson was very nice. The grounds looked nice, the apartments were clean, and they've put in new carpeting in the rooms, but it was a lot smaller than what my sister-in-law is used to. Also, it did not have a covered area for her car (since she's still driving). I don't think it would have worked for her at all, but it was very nice. The dining room was nice, too, as was the fact that there was a continuum of care if she needs it as the years go by. I went in on a Saturday, and I just talked to the marketing director, Kayla, who gave me the tour. She was very informative. I liked where the community was located, and although it was an older facility, it was well kept.

My mother lived in Brookdale Anderson. They told us they would check on her in the mornings, but it didn't come to fruition. The apartment was fine when we first moved in, but it went downhill ever since. The cleaning service was a joke. They would vacuum and mop the kitchen floor, but they did not dust anything ever. The bathroom was awful. She had a drip in all of her faucets, the bug situation was awful, and the executive director was never available. The only contact I had was with the lady at the desk. She was very nice to deal with. The maintenance took care of the problem, but I had to call many times. They would go two weeks without cleaning her apartment. My mother had been sick, she had been left in her bed, and no one checked on her. They do not follow through with anything they tell you they will. The rent increased over eight percent last year because they said they were going to hire better help, but that was not true. I would not recommend them to anyone for their parents. The grounds were horrible. The tree roots were so bad that they've broken through the pavement.

My dad is very happy at Brookdale Anderson. His room is clean and well maintained. I've seen the menu and there's a good variety of food. He's also very happy with the food. They have bingo and movies.

I put a deposit down at Brookdale Anderson. The chef came over to me and told me who he was and how much experience he had, which I was very impressed with. He was giving meals to residents who weren't feeling well that day. He was delivering their lunch that day, which was nice. I have so many health problems that I am so looking forward to doing this. I looked at a couple of units that people were living in. They were very nice and very accommodating.

Brookdale Anderson was a very good, clean place. Their bathroom was not handicapped, but they were very willing to make it into one, though it was just too small. Their price was very reasonable. My dad would need to go out of his apartment to get to the dining hall through a covered walkway, which is an issue for him. Their walkways needed some repair, but other than that, it looked great.

I didn't like the way the staff at Brookdale Anderson treated me. They didn't let me talk to any of the residents there, and the salesperson didn't show me any rooms. They gave me lunch, and the food was fine. Everything looked all right, but all I saw was the dining room and one restroom. They showed me around just a little bit. They told me there was no vacancy, so I could not look at any of the rooms.

Brookdale Anderson was the most attractive place and the prices were pretty good. It’s clean and well-kept. I had lunch there. Nothing exciting about the food. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Brookdale Anderson was too old for me. I saw that quite a few of the staff did not take their job seriously and did not have caring hearts. They had very limited amenities. The dining area was good, but by the time I got the meal, it was cold. That was one major complaint I had with them.

Brookdale Anderson is a very nice place with covered walkways. The staff member who showed us the room was very informative. Their apartments are in a cluster. It was a very nice facility.

The lady who talked to us was very good. She sat down and spent time with us. They have nice activity room where they can get out of their rooms and watch TV if they chose to do that. The residents are out and about walking. They have a rocking chair where the residents can spend a good time on them which is wonderful.

There was something about the feeling that I had when I went. I liked the fact that they had rental rooms. We had families that lives in Texas, North Dakota, and sometimes they come in and they would need a place to stay. They served meals and I was sure they're very comparable as far as variety and presentation were concerned. Everything seemed to be well maintained. They had a variety of activities. I'm sure they had buses to wherever you wanted to go. Some of them had rooms that were vacant and they were in the process of redoing those in order for people to come into. I was pleased at everything that I saw. The young ladies that escorted me from section to section both did a great job. The place was clean and spotless. I don't know how the individuals lived inside their little sections, that's their business, but the public areas were clean and they were well presented. In one living section there was a sidewalk and you could have chairs on the outside of those and you could visit with your neighbors and had lunch with them. I liked that. I had no complaints.

We're pretty much well pleased. The staff who met with us and mom was very helpful. The place is clean and they come in and vacuum the room once a week. There were no complaints there but there were some exterior problems like the drainage, her patio floods, and some painting needs to be done. The breakfast and lunch is very good but the supper is sometimes good and sometimes not, so it could be better.
