My Mom just had hip replacement at age 75. Not a real good 75. Care at Golden Crest was awesome. Nurses, CNA's and Therapists were all unbelievably kind and caring. Owner of the facility was on sight. Takes the time to speak with the residents and asks them questions about their stay. Of course my Mom being Italian complained about some of the food being a little unflavorful but that was it. Fantastic experience, very very pleased

This is not a good facility for anyone with limited mobility. Basically you fend for yourself. On a positive note, the therapist were very responsive.

my mom was admitted for hospice care. She was there for ONE day - then we took her home. The DAY shift was very nice and attentive. Evening shift was a lot of people standing around talking. The night shift didnt seem to care that my mother was in pain and they told her to "shut up and go to sleep". My mom was 88 years old with a broken pelvis and sacrum. I was not greeted well when i voiced my concerns. Nursing homes need serious help. Pay your staff better, hire better people, try to care about the humans in your care.

Golden Crest Nursing seems very clean. My mom's been in there for about a month now. The staff all seem to be very friendly and they're very attentive to the patient. They do have activities like arts and crafts and they play games. Although my mother has dementia and Alzheimer's, so she would rather be home.
