My mother has been admitted to this facility for rehab, after being there for just a week she seems to be getting a bit stronger every day. Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy have been done in the privacy of her room due to the current restrictions. She is also enjoying the the menu choices they have to offer. The staff have been wonderful to her and are very compassionate. The admission director was so very helpful with the entire process, he worked with her doctors office to get all the documents needed and the entire process took only a few days. He returns calls promptly and answers all questions and concerns without hesitation.

The care there is absolutely horrible. There is no tlc whatsoever. Little to no meal, horrible food. Totally understaffed, my mother rang her buzzer and someone came over an hour and a half later. Send your loved one to Iraq, they'd be better off !!!

As a current patient of South County Nursing and Rehabilitation, I am sad to say that this is a place that for now should be avoided at all costs if you care for a loved one or yourself. I came here to recover from a heart operation, and while that has gone as well as can be expected, there are serious deficiencies here. For one, the food offered is completely inappropriate: no accommodation has been made for the fact that I should be eating a heart healrhy diet, to the point that I've had to make arrangements for food to be brought in from outside. But this is the real problem: I came here three weeks ago with a serious dental problem and the administration has done absolutely nothing to help, to the point of refusing to provide transportation to a dentist appointment that I made myself. This facility is chronically understaffed: many of the staff recently quit, with the gap is made up with contract employees who do the absolute minimum amount of work. Most of the remaining permanent staff are caring and helpful, but they are simply outgunned by an administrative staff who return any attempt at asking for help with a belligerence that is just shocking. So I will be leaving for Mass General to have the staples holding my sternum together removed as soon as transportation can be arranged. Via Uber. Don't come here! Don't subject somebody you care about to this abysmal treatment!

This is a great facility. Everything is clean, staff is great. This is the second rehab my father has been in, in the past few months and after our first experience I was a little leery but was pleasantly surprised. Exceeded my expectations, I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for a loved one.
