I would highly recommend Aldersbridge Communities for anyone who needs housing and is living on a low to medium income. You can transition from Independent to Assisted Living seamlessly as well into the Nursing Facility if needed. My mother, whom we affectionately referred to as, “The Mayor of Winslow”, spent the last 4 years of her life at Winslow Gardens in their independent living program. She had many friends in the Independent living as well their Assisted and Nursing Facilities. The staff was always so very attentive and caring. She spent a short time at Linn Health recovering from surgery and returned to her apartment at Winslow after. Across the board I cannot speak any higher of Aldersbridge Communities; Winslow Gardens and Linn Health.

We chose Winslow Gardens for my mother because it was affordable, and it just seemed like a really cozy place. The atmosphere is very good, and the people who work there are great. The food was good, and the occupants of the rooms were kind enough to let us come in and talk to them. They had no complaints at all, and we thought they were well cared for and well taken care of. The good thing about the place is they have all 3 levels all in the same facility which is good. That's a nice feature.

I was able to get my aunt into a facility at East Providence. It's the Winslow Gardens. It is locally in the community in East Providence, and it is a retirement community run by Elder Methodist and a very popular place. It's been there for quite some time apparently. The staff is very good. You could just go over there and speak with the people very easily. I was able to get a brief tour of the place just by making a phone call in advance, so I was able to see the facility before any decision was made. They assisted with getting the paperwork together, and then interviewing my aunt. The building itself is a very sturdy building, made for the purpose. They have a very nice dining room and a sunroom overlooking the gardens, and it's local so it's down the street from churches and other facilities that people would use such as shopping, doctors, and things like that.

We chose Winslow Gardens particularly because of the cost and pretty much because she likes it. It has a very nice facility and the staff is great. It's close to me and close to the church since she does go to church most of the time. She has a big room and pretty much she'll be comfortable. A good place to recommend to others.
