I toured pretty much the whole facility of Personal Care at Evergreen. We went down and started downstairs, then we went upstairs, and they showed us the whole place. They seemed like very caring people. Everyone seemed to be happy and they were out watching TV in the common area. It looked like it was extremely clean and very nice. They showed us the activity room and the common areas. They showed us where they prepare the food and I guess they do crafts and things like that in the activities...

Personal Care at Evergreen was a smaller facility where there was some genuine care for each person without making it feel like they were in a dormitory. The first person that I spoke with showed me around the facility and showed me the community area, and it was very clean. The person that talked with me was very gracious. My first experience with Evergreen was in 2008 when my mother was declining and was unable to care for herself. We admitted her to Evergreen, sadly, against her wishes. The administrator and staff went above and beyond to make my mother feel comfortable and welcome and showed utmost patience for her. When her needs became too much for the home, they referred her to a nursing home facility.
