Mom needed to be closer to us as she has gotten older. That big house was so lonely far away. Now that she is at Harmony, she is making friends, has a good routine, and is happy. She loves going to the dining room for lunch and dinner (she likes the food) and has opportunities to socialize as much or as little as she wants. Very friendly staff. Housekeeping comes once a week and her apartment is spotless. Very grateful to have her near us now!

Harmony at Morgantown was excellent. It was extremely clean, modern and well-maintained. The staff was very friendly. The facilities were very inviting. The person who was supposed to show up wasn't there and somebody filled him in who didn't routinely do that. It's a beautiful place.

I went to look at Harmony at Morgantown and had a good visit with them. It's a relatively new facility. It has plenty of parking. The rooms are nice. They have varying sizes., like a studio and one bedroom. They have different levels of care, and you could move in between them, which is very nice. It seemed like a really beautiful place. There are people there walking around. There was one lady with her. It just seemed like it would work out for my friend. The staff was very knowledgeable and very nice.

I liked Harmony at Morgantown. It was extremely clean. They had a library, and I liked the rooms. They seemed to have lots of activities. The staff showed me just about everything including the dining hall. He was extremely nice and extremely thorough.

Harmony at Morgantown was a wonderful place. It was like a cruise ship on land. I had a very positive experience. They have all your needs met, and everything is taken care of. They even have a bar and happy hour. The one-bedroom apartments are huge. The two bedrooms are probably double that. There's a huge walk-in closet in them. However, I am not a candidate for community living at this point in my life. The staff was excellent. He answered all the questions and showed me all the facilities. For amenities, there's a beauty salon and activity rooms. The gymnasium is a treadmill, bicycle and some other stuff, but they also had an onboard physical therapist who can take care of any physical therapy needs that anybody needs. They have two dining rooms, one for assisted living and one for independent living. The grounds are beautiful. They dug into a hill and then built the building, but the views off of the sorry of the one-bedroom apartments are pretty good even though they're views of a hillside. I did not try their food; however, the menus reflected that they had bona fide chefs instead of cooks. So it was not someplace that you want to blow off as just an institution. This is a place designed to maintain people for a long time and maintain them in a good frame of mind. They were not just trying to grow vegetables in rooms. They were very human about the whole thing.

I visited Harmony at Morgantown. Everybody seemed nice. They looked nice and clean, and not like a dungeon-like some places. The room size is average. The common dining area was fine. There were just tables in the room. They had a room where they could watch movies and stuff like that. They say they have bands that come in. I think there was a place for exercise. I remember that it didn't look all dark and gloomy, nothing like that. Being just taking a visit, you're just going to be presented with somebody nice, taking you around. I wouldn't know on a daily basis how the staff would treat the patients. I didn't interact with the staff other than the person taking us around.

Harmony at Morgantown is one of the most beautiful places for assisted living and independent living that I've seen. It's an extremely reasonable price for such a great facility. The facility is just topnotch. If it wasn't for the fact that my father's physical abilities would not allow him to go there, I would have placed him there in a heartbeat. I left there so happy after viewing it because it was such a nice place. Despite the fact that my father wasn't physically able to be placed there, our tour guide reached out to us on several occasions just to check on how my father was. That's topnotch service in every way. They have a restaurant-style dining room with menu choices. It was very good. They had a movie theater and a game room to play cards and games. They had a central living room. They had a pub where they had happy hour several days a week for the residents, and that was wonderful. They had transportation to appointments and grocery shopping downtown.

No communication. Great sales pitch and looks clean and modern, but overall care is horrible. When there is a problem or illness, no communication with family. No activities even though there is a calendar. Definitely not trained in providing appropriate up to date treatment for Memory Care.

The tour at Harmony at Morgantown was very good. We were very impressed with the facility, and it had everything that we would need. It was very clean. The staff was very courteous, and they answered all our questions; it was very good. The thing I liked about it is that you could move from independent living, to assisted living, to memory care, all in the same facility. They have different levels of care in assisted living too. The rooms are very nicely laid out. They looked very comfortable and very nice. Some residents were walking in the hall, going outside, and interacting with each other. It was just like a community. They have games in the activity room. They have a chapel (where they can go to church). They have a movie theater, and they have different activities going on all the time. It's busy. It seems like they cared for the residents. They have a menu where the residents can pick from. They can pick from the menu different things every day. They have lots of choices.

I was very impressed with Harmony at Morgantown; I thought they were very nice. They showed me the apartments for assisted living in the memory care area also. They had everything from bus schedules where they would go out and go places, to activities that were actually done in house. They had calendars and things that are scheduled or pre-planned events. It was pretty very thorough. They have a movie place where they could gather for movies. They had almost like a bar or a social type area to watch games and things like that, and there's also an eating area. The place is newer.

The care plan is not being followed. There is also very poor communication from the facility. They have also canceled meetings at the last minute twice now. The bedroom room is really dirty and he smelled so bad.

Harmony at Morgantown is absolutely beautiful, very modern, and has a lot of amenities. The staff is extremely friendly, and the residents my mother has met have been friendly as well. Everything is perfect. The menu looks good. They provide transportation within 10 miles of the facility, which is included in the price. They will take her to doctors' appointments, to the grocery, and other things that she might need.

My impression with Crossings at Morgantown was absolutely wonderful, and the treatment of the staff was absolutely marvellous. I was impeccable and flawless. They have daily movies, therapy, games, outings, a pool table, and lots of things to do. We had lunch, it was a five, and mother loved her lunch. Its brand new, it just opened on October, and the first residents moved in November. They have a movie room and a game room. They serve three meals a day, but only one meal is included in the bill.
