Facilities is horrible. Had to hunt the employees down to do anything. Evertime we took, coloring books, TV, clothes etc. It went missing. We moved her and she got none of her things. The food was horrible. When the new home was given her meds list they couldn't believe how much meds she was on. She was almost comatose.

Last time I was there the room was not clean.spider webs and spider eggs around the inside of the window. Laura was the best. She really cared. She went far above her job to care for my friend. I wish I could remember the name of a couple other people there with the same attitude. I hope they’re still there.

I wasn't impressed with AMITY Slippery Rock. The floors were dirty. It was very outdated. The staff was very nice, but I didn't like the fact that they have a lot of what seemed to be male mental health patients, and with my friend being a dementia patient, I just didn't feel comfortable with her even considering it. Nothing against the people who work there -- they were wonderful. The rooms were outdated. Everything was outdated. For a doctor owning it, I would think they would have put some money into it. The dining area was OK. They cooked their own food, but the menu seemed to be fine. They were getting ready for lunch when we got there, so they weren't doing any activities. However, they had a nice back-porch area with a country setting.

Amity Slippery Rock Personal Care Home wouldn't work for us. It was fine, the staff was nice, there's no problem. But the facility is not what we were looking for. The facility is old and the room is out of date. The layout wouldn't have worked. There were activities. The dining area is also out of date.

I visited AMITY Slippery Rock Personal Care Home and their fees were too high. We can't afford to go there. It was kind of quaint, small, and not a very big place. They probably only have a dozen people there. The staff was very friendly. It's probably just as big as a house. Everything was on the first floor. The kitchen is at the back, the dining room is to the left and the living room and then the patients' rooms are back in the hall.
