We found The Commons at Stonebrook Village for my aunt. We have a very good experience, the staff is excellent, the room is very, very nice, and we're very happy with the place. It's very nice, very clean, and very welcoming, the layout is very pleasant, they have independent living apartments, and they also have patio homes, and condominiums. My aunt is very pleased with the food. The activities seemed casual, and everybody seemed to be very happy with it.

Right now, my dad is on The Commons' waiting list. The woman in charge of that facility is wonderful. She has made my dad feel very welcome when we toured the place. He met a lot of their residents. The accommodations that they have are all wonderful. Everything is well kept. Overall, it is a beautiful place.

It's in a medium-sized building. The apartments were very nice. They either have a patio or balcony, so that was a big plus. However, they're more expensive and not income-based. They provide dinner every day, all utilities including cable, weekly housekeeping, complete kitchen appliances, and they have community, social events, and activities. It has the best price. Barbara was very, very gracious, and very nice. I was handed an application, but the waiting list is 3 to 5 years, so I don't know if it's worth your time. If you can't get in it, what good does it do?
