My sister was at Brandywine Living at Upper Providence for about a month and a half. We have the highest praise for this facility. They were wonderful. The people were warm, kind, attentive, and they've been very good to her. She enjoyed it very much. They served very good food. They had a lot of amenities. She went to the movies once, but she was becoming sick so she couldn't participate in the other activities.

The rooms are spacious and everything is really clean. I saw the community when the residents were in a competitive corn hole competition and everyone was laughing, having a good time. The food menu was extensive and lots of choices

My mother is at Brandywine Living. The staff is very down to earth, very caring, and very informative. I don't know about her room because we can't get inside, but the meals are wonderful. She said it feels like she is in a fancy hotel. They have all kinds of activities. They decorated a Christmas tree, they have trivia games, and they have crafts. They have all kinds of things. My mother is in memory care. I think it's called Reflections. Security is fantastic. They seem to be doing a great job. I can't say enough about them. It's a wonderful place.

Brandywine Living at Upper Providence was very nice and beautiful inside. It's just a little stuffier. When you walk in, it reminds you of a hotel lobby in New York, and my mother wasn't that high end. Cost wise, they're very similar to the other one we visited, but the other one was a little homier. This is a little dark and has a lot of dark woods, but very nice and new. The room that she would've been in was a studio, and it only had one closet, so storage was an issue there. We talked to just the assistant director when we were going in for finances, and he seemed very nice. I haven't interacted with the staff. We were just in for a visit.

To the staff who greeted my mother with a smile, the nurses who cajoled her to take meds & follow routines, the butlers who patiently met her requests, the aids who gently provided for her personal care, the dinning room staff who politely disregarded her negative comments, the recreational personnel who persuaded her to participate, the housekeeping staff who calmly dealt with her demands, the staff whose efforts kept her safe when she was uncooperative, the administrators who always assisted with all things legal and financial. THANK YOU for the loving care you gave to our mother during her 2 year stay at Brandywine Living. Your kind acts whether large or small demonstrated respect and compassion for an individual with dementia.

I would like to commend the Brandywine staff, management and facility. My Parents have recently moved from their house of over sixty year into Brandywine on your Serenade floor, Transitioning can be overwhelming and difficult, however, they have adapted extremely well. I contribute this to the outstanding level of care, friendliness, and kindness the ENTIRE Brandywine staff displays at this facility. I especially commend your management team who establishes the correct culture, attitude, teamwork and attention to detail. Thank you for providing this exceptional care and most importantly the dignity seniors deserve.
