Once staff sees you care of about loved one, you will get good service, DO NOT, DO NOT place anyone in this facility, it needs to be closed. the worst. smells, medication not give in time, bed pan for toddlers , supervisor Lydia has not time to speak with you. Food on floor second floor front desk, no cups, cups in closed locked up , key broken??? broke bed, not phone, , POOR MANAGEMENT. Even staff say the place in bad. Run, do Not , no one should be allowed to live in the those conditions.

I am a spouse of a patient here, the nursing staff (3-11)pm have no business working here, they don't give meds when they are supposed to, they take their dinner when meds need to be given out. They let their patients lay in their own feces, don't answer call buttons, etc. I must clarify......this is not for all the 3-11 staff, just a certain few. Patient ask for a doctor no one puts the order in, utensils are filthy....no place to leave your loved ones or even your pet.

Due to the Coronavirus, I was not allowed to visit my brother. I would call my brother every day. There were days in which the phone at the front desk rang forever. When I did get an answer to connect me to the nurses' station, the phone rang off the hook, no answer. There were days I had to wait for my brother to call me He would complain about his care and the waiting time. His diaper was changed once per shift. He never received the new clothes we brought for him. The clothes were being tagged for the three weeks he was there. He expired.

My mother was at this facility for one month and it was the worse place ever. If her nurse was helping with meals in the dining area, my mother would have to wait to get assistance with her toileting needs. We were told "she's wearing a diaper so she can wet herself" and sit in it for hours until someone was available to take care of her. Because of this, my mom developed a sore on her bottom. the residents began going to the area for dinner at 5:00p.m. and would not get their meals until 6:30 - 6:45 p.m. The staff would be holding personal conversations with one another while the residents waited for their meals. When the staff was asked for assistances for anything, you received all sorts of attitudes and dirty looks. There are no activities for the residents, they just sit in the halls looking very sad. I would not recommend this facility.

My mother was in this place and she was always in a dirty diaper, which tucker house started her on. She was always calling to be changed and they would be mean and nsty to her. The staff at Tucker house are rude, uncaring and do nothing for the residents. everytime I came there to see my mother the staff was laughing and joking with each other while the residents sat in the hall ways doing nothing. The Social workers that are supposed to be there to help the residents doing nothing. No one in tucker house care about the residents. It is a very sad place and I think that the state should get a whole new stff in this place.

During the day you will always see full staff and well taken care of residents because this is the time that the directors and state department expect things to be up to standard. WhenI visit my mothet in the evenings and weekends I leave the Tucker House in tears. My mother is smelling room up so bad sitting in fecies all day. My mothers condition is much worse since she is not encouraged to do things. The residents sit in hallway with nothing to do but wait for their time to die.

My uncle is now at Tucker House. It is fair. The rooms are fair. In terms of activities, they have physical therapy, a hair dresser, and a barber. The food is excellent, though.

I am the court-appointed guardian of a woman who has been placed at Tucker House. I have been very impressed with every staff person I have met. Each and every one I've encountered has been cheerful, caring and kind. Compared to the other facilities where I have wards, Tucker House gets the highest marks. I'm leaving activities blank because I don't have enough information yet to rate these. My ward says there's alot to do and she's happy, but I haven't personally witnessed the activities.
