My family was fortunate enough to have utilized services from Penn Care at Home. From the intake interviews to the actual care of the patient by a top-notch nurse and physical/occupational therapists, to the final closing of case, Penn Care at Home has always been efficient and professional. I would like to give special recognition to Nurse Jeannie. She always went above and beyond to provide the best possible care. She would go out of her way to make calls to other medical providers on our behalf to make sure our loved one received priority service. Our only "negative" reviews would be about: a)the after hour callback-There were times we requested callbacks during weekend hours that did not arrive until Monday morning. That problem could be related to a staffing issue or maybe we misunderstood what the afterhours line actually is. b)limited amount of physical therapists in the field-We would request that they hire more physical therapists. Other than those two issues, we would highly recommend Penn Care at Home to any family needing help rehabilitating a loved one who is ill.

Penn Home was a large and older building. They had been there for a hundred and eight years. They used to be the Penn Foundation for widows. The rooms were private and they were very nice. They served professionally prepared meals three times a day. They were very involved with the Catholic Church organization that was nearby. It seemed like a very nice place. The residents were happy and there were plenty of staff on hand. They had other care for dementia and Alzheimer’s but they required that you remain ambulatory. They had a large integration with Saint Anne’s Parish. They were senior group that led tours and took them to cities museums. They did some group stuffs with them. They took them over to the parish. It seemed like a nice set-up.
