Regina Nursing Center is a privately owned, clean, nicely landscaped facility. I found an upbeat feel from Regina and the quality of care which is being given. It appears to usually be at full capacity, and there seems to be fairly good feedback from most residents. I had not known they also offer short term rehabilitation services. Activities seem to be plentiful for people of all levels of skill and ability. It was also intersting to hear this is a faith based operation...non denominational...offering spiritual care. The handicaps vary greatly from physical issues to mental. The staff appears sincere in their desire to help. On a summer visit, I saw two young aides on either side of an elderly patient, strolling along chatting up a storm. It was apparent the resident had struggles walking and they were bracing her at each step, and did not at all appear to be impatient with the slow pace they needed to keep. This facility would be a nice choice, and is also very close to a couple hospitals. I personally have no negatives based on what I had seen.
