My father was at Northampton for 8 days. He is 98 and was here because of pain from an inoperable hip. He was happy with the food. Finishing all his meals. The staff was extremely attentive. Pat was his room aid person. Pat was always right on top of my father's needs. LULU was his nurse. Excellent medical care. Super friendly. The rest of the staff was top notch but I don't know their names.

My night nurse (Tracey) is more like a friend as she takes time to listen to me . She has a warm caring personality to everyone ……Peggy S

My mother is now at Northampton Post Acute. The staff are very attentive. The food is pretty good, but it needs to be a little more seasoned and get some flavor. They have bingo and games and things like that. They have physical therapy and occupational therapy. They have a salon. They cut my mother's hair there, and it's very good.

I was very disappointed in the way the office/billing department (Katie), handled my mother’s situation. My mother was sent to their rehabilitation center for about 10 days and then sent to long term. Her paperwork was still being processed when she passed away. She was only there for a few days. This was in February when COVID was still strong, so I completed her paperwork through emails. When I did call the office about signing paperwork I was advised by Audrey at the front desk that, “children are not responsible for their parents debts and I was just signing to be my mom’s advocate “. Because her paperwork was not completed I am now paying her balance. My mom had a small amount of money and we used that to pay her bills while she was in the hospital and the rest went towards her cremation. By May they sent it to collections. Only 3 months. Very dissatisfied!!

My Granddad was here. A few times actually. If he needs rehab again this will no longer be our choice. Used to be top notch. The administration is so out of touch. They NEVER return your call. The " nurse" who does the discharging was very rude to my Mom and did not answer her questions. Continually sent her unanswered calls to Social Services. There was an awful agency nurse there. Very unprofessional. I was talking with my Granddad one evening and I could here her in the hallway dropping the " F" word. My Mom told me she is always overly loud. Why have her there?

I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. I would never recommend this place to anyone. The staff left my family member in a soiled diaper for hours, resulting in sores. Took his clothing to do his laundry and never returned his belongings. Discharged him and said he was 'independent' even when he could not walk, brush his teeth, go to the bathroom, or do any sort of basic task without the help of at least one--if not two--adults. The amount of neglect my family member faced was horrific and the staff's refusal to answer questions when we called just shows how corrupt and insensitive this place is. If you care about your loved one at all, find somewhere better. The mental toll this took on my family member is irreversible and heart breaking. Every employee of this 'care center' should be ashamed of themselves and have their licenses revoked.

My mom is a amputee and 83. And I cannot take care of her till she gets her prosthetic leg. But I cannot say enough about Nurse CeCelia and aide Emily there are not enough words I can express towards them both❤️ They both go beyond their jobs to accommodate my mom. They both need a big Thank you. So far I’m satisfied with the facility considering the circumstances of COVID /

I ended up putting him into Old Orchard Health Care Center -- which was a great place. The staff was very caring. They heard my concerns. The only complaint I had about them was we were a late night admittance, and there was nobody at the door. I had to figure out how to get in the front door myself. There was staff leaving, but there was no way they were helping me because they were in a hurry to leave. He was there for 5 weeks. As long as I was a continuing visitor daily and I could see there were concerns and I could report them, his care was good. He said the food was very good. I filled out a menu and told them what his dislikes were, and he never saw them on his plate.

I spend a lot of time visiting and maybe they have had some bad days. I watched family members correct nurses because of inaccurate medications. I have listened to that loud, caustic sounding bell for 15 minutes before a nurse checks on the patient. I have watched and heard hospice women convincing patients and their family to Join hospice. Nobody walks either and I've been there late at night and have seen a lot of elderly people asleep in the hallway. Seems strange to me.

I feel that the staff was wonderful, friendly, efficient, and knowledgable. The facility itself, appeared run down, dirty and cold. The nurses and aids who worked with my family member were all very compassionate which meant a lot in that time. There were many times the staff seemed rushed, understaffed. Although they took excellent care of my family member I feel that there is always room for improvement.
