My mother is at The Landing of Collegeville. I like how it's appointed, how it's decorated, and the location. It's six minutes from my house. The staff seems pretty nice. I was allowed to move her in and other than that, I've just been allowed in the office for visits. All summer, we were on the patio having outdoor visits. So far, so good. I love her room. She has a studio apartment. It's small, but it's all she needs. She gets whatever the main thing is for lunch and then she always gets the grilled cheese and chips for suppertime. It's a beautiful facility. She has three huge closets. They have assisted living, memory care, and independent living.

The Landing of Collegeville was a very nice place. It was very clean, pretty, and well-kept. There are social events that occur there for the people who live there and also for outside people. They had a lovely dining room, and food was included. There's food available 24 hours a day if somebody needs it. They have a happy hour and a wine happy hour every night in the communal area. Their food is excellent. It was real food cooked on the premises. It's only two stories.

My mother resides at The Landing of Collegeville now. Her experience has been wonderful. The staff has been great and very accommodating. The residents and the community have been very receptive. The food is great, and it's open dining. They have a movie theatre, they have generation of movies every day, they have various activities, arts and crafts, games that challenge the people's memory, cards, board games, day trips, and they take them to local places. There's an abundance of things to do. There are religious services, which is important to her. She has a studio apartment. It's a new facility and it's of great value.

We visited the memory care section of The Landing of Collegeville and it was very nice. It's a new building, and the first time I went most of the residents were out on a field trip, so I didn't get to meet the activities director or the unit manager. It seemed very nice. They had a specific music program. They have a menu that residents can choose from every day which seemed good. They have a salon and a small garden off of the unit, but it's very bare, basically just grass, no plants. It is a new facility and they said they were going to be doing some more landscaping at it. I did go back the second time and met some of the staff.

We went to The Landing, and they have small apartments. Everything felt like being in a hotel. They don't have a pool. It looked like an empty hotel.

The Landing of Collegeville is top all the way through. My wife is in the memory unit, and I am there with her, but I am not part of the memory unit treatment. It's the only 1 in 10 that I checked that would allow that to occur in the memory unit. The staff is very good and very friendly and doing their job. They have programs set up every day to keep them active. The food is more than satisfactory. They have all the facilities including a little movie theater. They have exercise and will be eating outdoor today for a barbecue at the back. We're getting our money's worth.
