My wife was in Forest Park for two days. The rooms were a little more comfortable, inviting, and aesthetically pleasing. It was clean, the rooms had big windows that let some natural light in, and the bed was good. The room was small, but nicely appointed. The staff was very good, the food was good, and other people say the physical therapy was particularly good.

My mom has been at this facility since the middle of 2024. When she was first placed there , A pretty pictures was painted and the staff members that were interacting with my mom talked up the facility. It didn't take me very long to see the real picture. Forest Park has got to be one of the worse facilities in the industry. Most of the staff are the for the money and that's all. The unanswered call lights are ridiculous. The food is terrible. They say they serve well balanced meals, I'm here to tell you there in no balance in anyone's diet. The filth all over the place, stained floors, black mold growing inside the facility. The PA Department of Health is in there so regularly , I am surprised they don't put their own office inside of Forest Park. If you care about your loved one in the slightest way, DON'T place them in Forest Park. I am actively seeking another facility for my mom.

My husband was a resident of Forest Park Nursing and Rehabilitation. It was dirty. It smelled. The nursing care was next to none. The staff was OK, they were trying, but the facility itself was horrible. The food was horrible.

We went to forest Park, they were very pleasant, much updated, and we liked the location. The staff was very friendly and took us around. The décor was extremely outdated, it was depressing, cluttered, and it didn’t seem correct. You walk in the reception area, immediately you think “well it’s outdated”, and it colors your opinion after that.
