My mother was at Golden Living for 2 years and the stories are horrendous. Needless to say, I had to take her out due to her face being scratched and no one was available to tell me how it happened. She was punched various times, and her thumb was fractured supposedly by another resident. Here again, no one could tell specifically what happened or how. Some of the aides and nurses were very helpful, but often had to wait a long time for someone to be available to speak with.

My dad is in a full nursing home dementia unit at Golden Living Center. The staff there is very responsive. My dad is being very well taken care of. He gets walking therapy there. There is enough staff to take care of him. His room is just a typical hospital setting.

Third floor rehab facility is great for rehab and techs. Nursing facility is old, poorly kept, patients often ignored.
