The staff at the manor is very considerate of my husband, they make sure he is well taken care of. They often bring him to the visitors lounge, so he is not alone in a room all day. I was surprised by the food, it is very good. Physicals Therapy is currently working with my husband after a fall at home. They are very attentive to his needs. The social worker is there to help with any needs I will have when he is strong enough to be released.

Jeanine, the director of admissions, was extremely helpful making the transition from the hospital for my husband. The decor is "homey", and very clean. But the staff make up for ambiance in the way they assisted my husband and me in a very stressful time. The recommendation Kristel , the social service director, provided at his time of discharge was perfect.

The facility was clean overall. The food service was beyond disgusting. Giving a chef a high hat is a joke. If a guest is diabetic the meals are not appropriate & the staff has an answer to any questions regarding carb level, etc. Pure BS. If a guest (I prefer the title of inmate) requires assistance & help...good luck.. don’t hold your breath, Some of the staff were actually decent hard working people. Honestly I’d sY 20% were in this category & the remainder were sub par. No thanks. I had to endure the time that my wife was a guest. She has since come home.. never to return to an establishment of that type.

My sister is in Naamans Creek Country Manor. For a nursing home, it is not bad. My sister has Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, so she has mobility problems and cannot be left alone. She would get nervous and start calling around to find out where everybody was. The nursing home itself is nice. The afternoon and evening caregivers are excellent. The morning ones are not so much and have a lot of turnover of the young kids more interested in sitting on their phones than taking care of patients. She is self-sufficient, so she can get herself up and dress and wash, and when they bring her a tray then she is fine, but there are so many people in the home who are severely disabled that she has nobody that she can really talk to. There are two people in the room, and her roommate is totally bedridden, which gives my sister full access to the bathroom. She has some problems with her bladder, so it is nice that she has total access to the bathroom when she needs it.

This facility was not very welcoming; staff members were rude to guests of patients. The dining areas were nice and residents seemed to be enjoying the social aspect of their meals there. The meals appeared to be nutritious and well-prepared. The rooms were small but clean; however, there is a pervasive smell throughout the entire facility. There were various social events for the residents, as well as visits from various community/social groups. The residents appeared to get along well and there were no aggressive incidents among residents. Overall, this was a fair nursing facility where residents appeared to be well-treated.
