Mom was there for one year before her passing. She just loved everyone there. We made a lot of new friends there. The location is amazing. The garden patio is so beautiful. They did have some food issues at first but the new chef is amazing. A huge shoutout to the employees that made her so happy - the cleaning staff, the front desk staff, the activity staff as well as the administration. I hope that I get as good of care and wonderful people when its my time.

My parents will move to Avamere at Cascadia Village. I like that they have consistent staffing, and they said they had not needed to get caregivers from temp agencies. It indicates to me that their caregivers are happy there, and they have the stability of staff. People are friendly there, it's clean, and there weren't any bad odors as we were walking around. They have a lot of nice activities for people, they cater to people's needs and asked what my parents needed or any particular activity that my dad likes to do. They're very accommodating and they wanted to accommodate my mother's needs as well. I looked at a 1-bedroom, which is quite large. My parents are both getting studios because of the cost, and they were a good size for studios. They do painting in-between move-outs and they do repairs and carpet change in between residents. Comparatively to other places, they were nice and it's also tucked away in a very quiet neighborhood. The view from one of the rooms was looking out to the courtyard, and the other one was looking out into the neighborhood. The staff that gave us our tour was very good.

You could not ask for a more compassionate (residents, staff and management) community to be a part of. We looked at so many places for mom to live in, and knew when we walked in the door that this was her home. I am so grateful for everybody at Cascadia Village, they made our relationship go from "caregiver" back to mother and daughter. The community has a home like feeling that you could not get anywhere else, everyone is always smiling and they always stop to talk to you in the hallway. I could not thank everybody enough for everything they did for us, they made us feel like a part of their family from beginning to end.

You would not be able to get this care or compassion (from residents, staff and management) anywhere else. It has a home like feeling that not a lot of communities have. I could not thank them enough for all the care that they gave my mom, they made our relationship go from "caregiver" back to mother and daughter.

I love the people in Cascadia Village in Sandy. The food was good and the facilities were very clean and accommodating. I also think I would be very happy in the rooms they showed me. The person who gave the tour was adorable and I fell in love with her. I saw some activities while I was there, like people putting puzzles together, watching TV, and exercising by walking around.

He is not in there yet, but I've had other family members at Cascadia Village, so I think it is OK. It was nice. They have something like high schools come and sings, and stuff like that. The rooms are not that great. I am not too happy with the rooms, but everything else is good. The staff people are average. I didn't see anything spectacular, but mostly it is just because it is closer for me to visit him.

This is a friendly caring facility. The Staff is wonderful. The food is great. It does have a bit of the low budget feel, but that is part of the charm.
