Beaverton Lodge's parking is a little bit iffy for visitors because all the parking spaces are for residents. If you are a visitor you have to park outside like on the street where there are only about five spaces near the entrance where you can park, but that's about it. That's the only thing. But the rest is very nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They didn't follow up with me afterward. Other than that, everything was fine. I have a friend that lives there and she loves it there. Her apartment is very large and roomy. It has a door that goes out to the patio. It's one bedroom but it's an oversized unit because it's on the end of the row of apartments by the stairwell. The other apartment I saw, also a one-bedroom, had the same floor plan, but the living room was pretty narrow. Compared to hers, it wasn't nearly as nice, but it was nice. They have a swimming pool indoors, a library, a theater and exercise rooms. And there's a lot of artists that live there. They've got artwork posted on the walls. And it's very nice and very pretty. They're updating it, putting in new wallpaper and flooring and everything.

I went to look at Beaverton Lodge. The activity person was fantastic, and they had so many activities. They are very aware of seniors and their needs. They had a lot of brain health activities during the week and one or two trips every week. They have a swimming pool, and they have someone that comes in and does water aerobics every week. The rooms are huge but do not have as much storage. They have balconies, which is nice. The outside is nice, and it's more in the woods. One thing we didn't like was that the parking was very limited. You have to park on the street if the lot is full. We had lunch there, and it was very good. They offer only one meal per day instead of two, and they charge for an extra meal. They only have one stove oven in the whole building for everybody. They had juices, tea, and coffee. They have a family dining room, and they serve you rather than going through a cafeteria line. But it's only an hour for meal time. There were fewer social room spaces and no crafts room. They had a small library. They do Wii bowling and lots of weekly movies. They do your laundry and provide you with soap for your laundry. They provide sheets and fluffy towels as well, which I hadn't seen anywhere else.

Beaverton Lodge had excellent service. It was lovely, and they were very nice. They had a calendar of activities, a shuttle bus that takes you to various locations for shopping, banking, medical facilities, and field trips. They had a lovely dining room, where everything was clean and up to date. If they were doing maintenance, I didn't notice it because it was all behind the scenes. The managers were always there so the place is on top of our list. The food was fine, typical, and nothing fancy, but very pleasant and fresh, and the service was very good.

We liked the Beaverton Lodge a lot. The owner cares a lot, takes interest in what's going on, and does nice upgrades. The setting was lovely. Very nice folks took me around. It just seemed like a very nice community of people that were close knit. It had a lovely pool and spa area inside.

It has been great here at Beaverton Lodge. They are very accommodating. They have exercise programs, road trips, a bus that takes you to the grocery store twice a week, and another couple of vans that will take you to doctors' appointments. The food is good, and sometimes like on holidays and stuff, they have special dinners.

I like most of the things about Beaverton Lodge. They have a swimming pool and a deck, which I always felt would be nice. They also have a flexible meal plan. The staff was very nice. I had not met anybody who wasn't nice. The room was fine. I think it even had a full kitchen, which I like. Overall, the only thing I didn't care for about this place is that I don't particularly want to live in Beaverton.

Beaverton Lodge was just perfect for me. It was smaller, but I was very impressed. The one I'm in is very large, and the area is very congested. I would probably go to Beaverton Lodge, except it's so far away. I have a son who lives there. This place is excellent.
