My mom has moved into Rambling Oaks Courtyard. They worked with us to get the price down so that we could afford to move her in. It has been very nice. My mom's room is very nice. They have activities. They have exercise class and bingo. They have the usual activities. The structure of the place is exceptional. Food is brought in three times a day and they offer snacks in between. It's been very good. They have a very large staff, which makes it nice. There's always somebody there on hand to help. Everybody is very friendly. The facility is very pretty. They have the courtyard in the center, which makes it nice. It's a very secure facility.

My mother will be moving into the Rambling Oaks Courtyard. We're gonna try the assisted living, but I visited both memory care and the assisted living. It appeared that the staff was very invested in their clients and that they seemed to care about them. They knew the clients, they address their needs right away, and it looked like a lot of the clients have been there for a while, so the staff was very familiar with them. I liked the cleanliness and the layout of the place. I also liked the caregiver versus resident ratio. Until my mother actually gets there and I can observe everything, I don't want to give it the highest rating. It was a little older facility, but it was kept up. I saw the beauty salon, and they said that they did do religious services, but it's kinda hard right now during the COVID. I also saw the garden patio.

During these unusual times Mother celebrated her 100th birthday. The weekend aides who take care of Mother celebrated by having a birthday party for her and the residents. Of course, we were not able to attend, but we did get to Facetime with her at the party. In addition, we worked with the administration to plan to have a yard card placed at the curb of Rambling Oaks Courtyard and a drive-by parade on the Sunday before Mother’s actual birthday. The aides took Mother to the front porch where she sat while friends and family drove by to wish her a happy birthday. She enjoyed that very much. In addition, Mother has missed several of her doctors’ appointments. We had to keep rescheduling them, and we finally asked administration if we could schedule virtual appointments. They gave us the phone numbers to call and we have been able to schedule those appointments. One of the nurses would sit with Mother and provide information to the doctors about her weight, blood pressure, and oxygen levels. The nurses always called to let us know how the appointments went. We have appreciated that service and have been pleased with the results. We have also had Zoom meetings with the Director. We appreciate the updates and being kept informed about the process of caring for residents and staff. It is very important during these unusual times to keep everyone safe.

This is one of the best assisted living centers I found on my review of the South Oklahoma City facilities. It is also very affordable. The caregivers are very good and care about the residents. They are frequently seen going beyond what is required to show care to the residents (my mom). The Staff Leadership is very interested in providing quality care to the residents and is always available to work with you to make sure the needs of the residents are being met. Performance challenges by staff are addressed very professionally and quickly with good results. I highly recommend this facility for your loved one and will stay until my mom goes on to be with the Lord.

Everyone is very friendly. The building is clean and the love within the home is felt the minute you walk in. I have had a loved on here for three years and it feels amazing, smells amazing and more importantly the care is great. If there is ever any issues the executive director, Holly, is always available to make sure that any issues are taken care timely an effectively. I highly recommend this place.

Rambling Oaks Courtyard wasn't the worst I've ever been in, but it wasn't nowhere near the best. It is build around a courtyard outside; however, as you got toward the back rooms, there were odors. You couldn't smell it when you first walked in the place. I had been there with a friend and I got a tour while I was there with her. I saw a small cubbyhole-type room, which was kind of a sitting room. The residents were sitting around the front entrance.

We’ve already placed my parent at Rambling Oaks Courtyard and they have been wonderful to us. I thought it is reasonable for the services they provided. I think the place is very nice. It is not a big room, but it is clean, and they seem to be very attentive by keeping things done. The housekeeping is nice, and it is just a nice facility.

My mother is living at Rambling Oaks Courtyard. She has a very nice apartment, and we’re really happy with it. They’ve made it really homey. They give her medications and some reminders about activities, and provide meals. They’re above average. She’s on oxygen 24/7, and they have a little problem managing that.

My mother is at Rambling Oaks, and they were very nice and qualified. She has a good room. The food is very good, and she loves it. She does exercise, Bible study, they go on outings once a week, and arts and crafts once a week. She is pretty active there.

I was visiting friends that were at Rambling Oaks. I even went back to where they had a game room and to see one of my friends. It’s very large and spacious. You walk in, and you feel like you are in really in a nice place. Then you go to the rooms and they are very nice, spacious, and comfortable. You can fix meals with them if you want to, or you go to the dining area. They have a really nice large game room, where my friends were playing games, and one of them was domino-based game and they were just having so much fun and enjoying it. It is very clean, attractive, and very nice. It’s homey, when you are visiting your friends you feel at home with them. I talked to the staff, and I have a good impression every time I have been here. She said you just come anytime you want to, and we'll take you around and show you exactly what we have and we will be glad to talk to you about it.

Rambling Oaks was nice. It was sunnier and brighter than the other place and everybody was friendly. It was just expensive. We met just a couple of the staff, but they were very nice and very helpful.

We visited Rambling Oaks, and we liked it. We stopped by unannounced, and they were very good. They were new, up-to-date, and we were very impressed with it. The rooms, the hallways, and the open areas were all immaculate. You wouldn't see the residents just sitting around idle in wheelchairs, unattended. They were in a group setting, so they could do something together. I thought my mom could fit in very well. They had good size rooms, which were spacious enough. You could put a queen size bed and a sofa or a loveseat. They also had a variety of food. It had more of a homey feeling.

I wasn't impressed with Rambling Oaks. It just didn't have the professionalism. It didn't seem they have activities. I probably would not recommend this place.

I moved my mom here after a very unhappy experience at another residence. There is a new director here that we just love love love. Even though we had to wait almost three months to get in, it's been worth the way. I've never met more caring caregivers in my life. The food is very down to earth, home-cooked and unpretencious. (The cook used to be where we used to live and we are so happy that she's here now.) When I pull my call light, someone is usually at my door in 2-3 mintues. wow! I've had to call the front desk to find my mom because it seems when we call, she's never in her room--which I love, but it surprizes me that she is having so much fun. I'm so glad we made the decisionto move. If you're thinking you might need a place for your mom or dad, then don't hesitate to check us out. You won't be disappointed. And mom loves the courtyard for her little dog. We can't be happier.

The facility was a great place for my mother to move to after my father passed away. I was very pleased with the size of the apartment available to the residents. My mom loves her new neighbors and all the activities that are planned for the community. She finds it convenient that there is a library and computer access available so that she can keep in contact with her grandkids and always have new books to read. Even though she loved to cook for all her children she is quite happy that the facility provides three meals a day so that she doesn't have to cook anymore if she doesn't feel up to it. I sometimes wish that I was in need of assisted living so that I could go live there also. It is very comfortable and accommodating while maintaining affordability. I highly recommend this facility for anyone in the OKC area.

If you want your loved ones cared for, pls don't choose this facility. It has went from being a facility w/waiting list to a facility that has plenty of rooms available and more residents and staff quitting/moving daily. New management/owners do not care about the care, they care about the $. The higher level of care they can charge you for, the more monies in your pocket..but it doesn't equate to more care. In fact family members actually stayed from 7 in morning to putting parents to bed for 3 wks and not one time did the actual "nurse" on duty even come by the room to see if everything was ok. The added care charges included taking to meals and activities...that never happened either..then they decided my mom & dad needed separation after 60 yrs. I took my parent to doctor, received statement so I could move them and get them out of contract...guess what??? The doctors statement wasn't good enough. What a game...so now I have to go back to the doctor (who by the way said he couldn't believe what this place was doing) and tell him his statement isn't good/worded plainly enough for this mgmt. Everyday is a new "story" of what they will do..never happens...they don't even communicate needs w/staff!! Please don't put your parents in this facility..They deserve so much more...especially for the price!!
