The first thing I noticed when I came here was how positive everyone was, and it is still like that every day! All staff, including the management are so kind and helpful. There are lots of activities that keep you busy and not bored. The food is EXCELLENT, just like restaurant food, and I look forward to meal time every day. LaToya is a great worker and goes above and beyond for me and everyone else. I really like Dee, Brandy, Emily, and Tina. They are always so helpful. This is a great place to be, and I feel comfortable and like I can be myself.

I feel like I get great care at Point Place. When I had to go to the ER from a doctor's appointment, my aide, Shyra, stayed with me until 10pm. That was so sweet of her! The staff really care and try to help. They can tell if something is wrong with me or if I have something on my mind. They always make sure I have the care I need. They are helping me getting better so I can get home!

My dad was at Point Place Healthcare & Rehabilitation for approximately four days and he ended up with a toxic wound that was so bad, that the infection had spread to his tailbone and then he ended up with a huge hematoma of pus up to his mid-back. They neglected him. They let him sit in his soiled brief for four days. He had dead necrotic skin on his butt. That was almost two months ago, and he still has not recovered from that wound. The wound was the size of a beach ball. Some of the staff were also very lazy. What they described to the family was it was a small toxic wound, but it covered both butt cheeks fully. I would not consider that small. Even though we didn't pay a dime out of pocket, it wasn't worth taking my dad there for free. That place gets a zero out of five.
