The first thing we noticed visiting Meadow Grove was this facility did not have a smell of a retirement home, that was evident at other facilities have. This was refreshing. The second thing was there was not folks in wheel chairs aimlessly sitting in hallways sloped over with no one attending to them. The therapist were very engaging and had a very well equipped area for the purpose intended. All the rooms are private. Our 94 year young Mom was here for therapy to get her to back into her home. She spent approx a month here with therapist, aids and nurses attending to her care. The therapist did more than their JOB. What I mean by that is you actually felt they had a personal feeling about the care they were providing for their patients. Always in a positive outlook. The aid staff also demonstrated a personal attentiveness towards the patients they cared for. The nursing staff was attentive to the distribution of prescriptions being administered. We felt we could not be in a better faciiity for her care and being. We were very pleased with her care and therapy.

My sister was just admitted to this facility a couple days ago. She is very weak and unable to walk or push herself up in bed to try to get comfortable due to arthritis. She was visited by a staff doctor late morning who was to put in a order for pain meds (Tylenol and pain patch). After I spoke to someone at the nurse's station about 3 hous later, it was revealed the doctor had not put the order through. About another hour or so later, I asked again. My sister was in excruciating pain, so I was about to give her some of my Tylenol, however, the nurse staff finally arrived with the needed meds at 4:45pm. I hope this is not a reflection of the level of care we can expect for the next few weeks she will be here. On the plus side, the rooms are nice, clean and spacious and the staff appears to be nice. Only time will tell

I cannot say enough good things about the physical therapy I received! When I arrived at Meadow Grove I could not walk. With the devotion of the therapy team I learned to walk again! It was a long journey but without the great physical therapy I received I don’t think I would be walking today! Thanks to all of the physical therapy team! Keep up the good work!

I toured Meadow Grove Transitional Care. From what I'd seen, everybody was friendly. It was really clean and well taken care of. It looked like it was more equipped to handle memory care. The staff who showed me around was knowledgeable about it, really nice and friendly, and she was willing to answer any questions. I was impressed with it. There's a patio, an area for a dining course, and an area for activities. The cleanliness was really good. It was impressive. I've been in a couple of homes, and it was just really, really clean. The staff was cleaning at the same time I was there. It felt like they were on top of it.

Sometimes it takes days for the residents rooms to get cleaned and then they aren't cleaned properly. With all of the illnesses that go around and now covid this is horrible. The staff is VERY rude. They tell your family right in front of other staff and the people that are supposed to be in charge and keep the patients safe that they "don't have to do anything for you!" WRONG!! Those patients pay to be there which pays your paycheck. You chose to work there so that's your job. You need a SERIOUS over haul of ALL of the employees at that facility!!!!
ashamed of theirselves

I hate this place, the staff members are so lazy and so do not work with you like their supposed to. Staff is rude no good bedside manners at all. The doctors just put you in all kinds of medications that you don’t need. I hate this place, I hope the STATE comes out to this facility. Poor poor poor

While visiting a close friend at your facility I was impressed by the friendliness of all the staff. They were attentive and caring for not only my friend but all of her visitors. The entire facility was immaculate. From the common areas to the rooms, the attention to the little details was impressive. The food was top notch. (No leftovers on the plate) If one of my family members or myself ever need need rehabilitation this is where I want to go.

We did not like Meadow Grove Rehabilitation at all. It had a very cold feeling. There were no activities going on. It's a pretty large facility. It seemed like people were in their beds in their rooms and it was kind of secluded. There was nothing going on. You didn't see happy faces. My mom didn't care for it. The receptionist seemed friendly and the lady that showed us around was nice. The dining area was more like a restaurant, but there wasn't a homey feeling at all. They have music and church services.
