The care my mother received at the Columbus Alzheimer's Haven was exceptional. Throughout her final two years, they consistently prioritized her happiness, safety, and comfort. Kevin, the director, demonstrated unwavering responsiveness to any concerns, his genuine dedication evident in every interaction. Courtney, the activities director, went the extra mile to ensure residents experienced joy and companionship. She formed a special bond with my mother, for which I'm profoundly grateful. The nursing staff exhibited a deep commitment to both the residents' well-being and their quality of life. From maintenance to reception, everyone displayed a genuine care for each individual, fostering a sense of community. Their diverse array of activities and inclusive celebrations added vibrancy to daily life. The facility itself was impeccably maintained and thoughtfully designed, fostering a welcoming atmosphere. Witnessing the genuine care and attention lavished upon my mother affirmed my confidence in recommending the Columbus Alzheimer's Haven to others seeking compassionate care for their loved ones.

My mom has been at CACC for almost a year. We moved her in just a few weeks before the COVID lock down. Having a loved one in a new facility during a pandemic can be very unnerving. I have been able to stay very involved with my mom’s care through phone calls with the staff and weekly FaceTime calls with my mom. The staff is excellent about calling immediately if something changes with my mom’s health. I have appreciated them loving on my mom; their care for her is evident during the FaceTime calls. Recently we have been able to visit her (socially distanced and masked). She looks nice and clean and happy every single time we come. The facility is not fancy and doesn’t look like a country club like many other facilities do. However, it is very large to allow residents to walk around, it is clean and safe. My family is very happy with the decision we made to place my mom in Columbus Alzheimer’s Care Center.

My father is at the Columbus Alzheimer Care Center. Their care is excellent, and the place is really nice. They're allowed to go outside, they have activities, they have TV they can watch or music they can listen to. His room is clean, I just want a different bed than the one that he's got. The staff is great. They're allowed to have snacks and drinks from time to time, and they do the laundry for them. His room has lots of windows, but it's a little warm. They need to work on the air-conditioning. He hasn't been there that long, but the staff really cares about their residents.

This is a terrible place. The administration and social workers are very nasty and rude. Many of the aids are nice but not allowed to discuss issues with you. Do not send any person you care about here. It is not clean, the rooms are nasty, the furniture is junk and it smells. The courtyard is a wasteland and the activities are a joke. This is hell on earth. An animal shelter is nicer.

Staff is very attentive and caring. This home is clean and patients are dressed and brought out to participate in group activites and therapy daily. I do check wounds, etc but my mother is a diabetic. Very pleased with Doctors also. They call and update me often as they are in earlier than I visit. My mother has severe behavioral issues from her Alzheimers and they are quick to fullfill any request. If you have a loved one you'd be so lucky to have them here. We visited so many nursing homes. We was so relieved when we found this facility. We did have a small wait and now are waiting for my father to join her in the same room. They've been married 59 years and both have Alzheimer's.

My Father was at Columbus Alzheimer Care Center for 3 months. During this time he lost a great deal of weight and incurred multiple injuries. My biggest complaint is with the physicians. He received virtually zero care for his injuries and nursing home acquired infections. They have a lot of trouble keeping nursing and care staff and seem to provide very little training. They medicate heavily but not effectively. There are much better choices in Columbus for memory care. Please look elsewhere for a place for your loved one.

My mother-in-law was at Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center for a month. The people were very nice and the employees were great and were all very pleasant, but she was not at the same cognitive level as the other residents. She just didn't feel secure there. The other residents were allowed to just stroll in and walk into your room anytime they wanted to. I don't think the security was great for their own room because they couldn't lock their rooms. It seemed too institutional and there was definitely odor to it.

Columbus Alzheimer's Care Center is a really nice and clean facility, but the rooms were not very big. They were good to my daughter-in-law's mother. They took good care of her. They had a lot of entertainment for them.

My sister was in other care facilities before we found this one. If I am ever going to need this kind of care, I want it to be at this facility. They have healed diseases she went in with and keep her in good health. There is never any smell about her and she is clean and comfortable. They keep in touch with us regarding her well being. They treat their clients with respect and recognize their individualities. They are the best!

My father was in this Center from Aug 2005 - May 2010. The nursing staff and the other care givers are the best in the world. They treat each resisdent as if s/he was their own mother, father or grandparents. This facility was built to ONLY care for the Alzheimer patients, from the up flow lighting to employing the right person who know how to deal with the Alzheimer patient. Now my mother has been diagnosed with ( early stage) Alzheimer (Dementia) and when the time comes and she can not live in her home, I know that my sisters and I will make the call to put her into this home when the time is needed.
