This place is terrible! No supplies to run the center. Staff not available. Just terrible!

This is not the place for your love one. The care is poor. Seriously, do not take your love one to this place. They do not take care of them, just got my dad back from a 5 day stay and he is in bad shape. Nursing staff seem guilty when we visited, wouldn't look you in eye, until we saw condition my dad then nderstand why. One one we care for love one like you can but this experience was rediculous. Operations and staff needs to be evaluated for job they provide patients and rated according to how they look.

I wouldn’t take my dog there. My husband stayed at this facility numerous times and each time he left worse off than when he arrived. The care is poor and they will bill you for anything or everything they think they can get away with.

Our mom is on the waiting list at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation-Winchester Place. We liked its locked-down facility, and the patients really seemed very happy. The place was very nice and very clean. In between the two facilities for Alzheimer's they have a little arbor place that has a huge tent to keep anybody in or out, and it was really nice. They had a little bench out there and there's a bird feeder. The second time that I went in there with my mother, they were having dancing to oldies, and they were all there and it was fun. I would give it four stars because it is not me and it is not my home, and I also don't like that they have to share rooms.

I wasn't quite pleased at Kindred and the rooms weren't as nice. It was all two to a room and there were four sharing a bathroom. It just was too on top of each other. You didn't have enough of your own private space. The rooms turned me off so I didn't inquire about the other things. They need to have private rooms.

My uncle used to live in Kindred in Van Meter Road. He had to live there because he was confined in a wheelchair before he died. The staff seemed to be knowledgeable and confident in what they were doing. They've kept my uncle very clean. He never had a bed sore. The food was good. They had more Southern foods and he enjoyed it.
