Please Do Not place your Love ones in this facility. Low staffing levels. Unprofessional staff blind leading the blind. High turnover of nurses and Nurse Sides, No activity coordinator, no beautician on campus Careless on personal property hearing aids, dentures. Communication is poor call multiple time to talk to a nurse, social worker, Administrators, Physical Therapist , and would be put on hold for 30-25 minutes. The elevator are old and had been out of order several times Foul smelling odor when you walk in the door and the furniture was old and outdated, and look nasty to even sit down until a staff come. I stand the whole when I’m there to prevent sitting on the couch or chairs No hands on of the residence during grooming as far as hair, using the proper soap base on client skin eczema. I’m very disappointed in the quality of care my love received at this facility my feelings are all over the place and if my family was not proactive in our live care she would not be here today Slow response in calling 911 and Seeking medical attention to my live lips, nails, and skin turning purple and blue Tge nurses sit behind the desk all day doing nothing I can’t write no more because this was a horrible experience for my family and I. I mean at times during visit my live was soul and the room had a foul odor to one of my family bathing and cleaning my grandmother room to asking for clean sheets which we were given sheets with blood stains I still have these pictures on my phone of the bloody stain sheets they so called washed. The food was not good either Please do not put your lives in this facility RUN ad fast as you can

The floors rooms entrance all filthy and this was not just overnight not being cleaned this wasd weeks of filth I asked for towels for my family member we were told they don't have enough for the whole facility they cut towels up to make do my family is military and he can't get out of there he says every time he gets ready to leave they've tapped into his account even more and yet he can't even get clean towels that's a health issue among other things do your homework on this place before putting your loved ones in there Please

They changed my father’s medicine knowing how it affects him & then let him move around on his own & he fell. There have been numerous times he’s had shit & pee on his sheets that weren’t changed. He had to go to the hospital for a fall & no one called. Instead of taking responsibility for not calling they made excuses. They NEVER answer the damn phones & I have had Bishop hang up on me when I finally did get through. They are so rude when speaking to the family. The whole place is terrible.

The staff has no clue what they are doing! If you need to take medicine other than orally stay out of here! They have unsupervised LPNs on the floor that are clueless and no one around to help them. They can't even do a simple task like order the patient's meds that they need. Nor do they feel the patient's meds may be time-sensitive and have to be given at a scheduled time! Their attitude is you will get your meds when they are ready to give them to you! If you cannot advocate for yourself, you will be forgotten about. The rooms are absolutely disgustingly dirty. They use the same mop for all the floors without changing the water. It smells, they don't change sheets, there are no pillow cases on the pillows, the pillows are torn, the beds are very old. I can't express to you that everyone should STAY AWAY from this place!!!!!!

The worst experience of my life. Sent there for skilled nursing care after I fractured my leg. No vitals, medical care was given. I was told they needed to confirm med list with doctor and would take well over 4 hours. Basically the paramedic that transported me helped me in bed. The nurse put a pillow case on a pillow, thew it under my leg and left. Didn't ask if I needed the rest room or water, didn't even cover me. I had to buzz to get an STNA who pulled up the overs. I sat there for almost 3 hours, asked to speak to someone in charge and was told the head nurse can call me. When I asked to leave, the nurse with the attitude said you can call 911. It wasn't till the paramedics pulled in that she decided to check my vitals, after I signed AMA paperwork. I guess they didn't want another law suit. I'm on immunosupprecent meds that I wouldn't be getting until several hours when they were due. I'm not willing to lose a kidney over this place. It scares me for people who are there and not able to advocate for themselves. This place needs to be investigated.

My relative was dying when we put her in in beachwood Pointe for hospice, under the care of Beachwood Pointe from the first day she was left in urine, she was a feed assist, that was almost like pulling teeth so I stayed there for the duration of her stay because they forgot (I mean didn't) to feed her change her move her toilet her or just check her even while I was there I was afraid of what might happen to her on their watch If it was not for the lovely staff of Bella care she would have been a bad case of neglect. There were a couple of stnas' that helped with my mom because they knew what was going on and I appreciate them. There is one RN that was very helpful she assisted me when my relative passed, anyway at the end of the day Beachwood Point has no rating for me to put. they were a bad nightmare from the first day so without other options a lot of prayers got us through. If your loved was is in need of real care I don't recommend this place I hated it! I did a walk though and didn't smell a thing the residents were moving about as if things were just fine they were not in my opinion they too were treated like my loved one not very well I would have taken a smell over neglect (my opinion) any day.

Overall, the facility was average. My grandmother lived there for three years and we visited her each Saturday. In my opinion, some parts of the nursing home were better than average and some were less than average. For example, my grandmother was fastidious with her hair. Each morning she would walk down to the nurses' station and the nurses would not only help her brush her hair, but sytle her hair the way she wanted it to be styled. (My grandmother had long hair to her waist). I view this particular action by the staff to be something done above and beyond the call of duty. This personal touch meant a great deal to the comfort of my grandmother. For an instance of something that I think shows the center performing at less than average was their laundry center. Each visit my family did always began with going down to the laundry facility and finding the missing garments of my grandmother. All her clothes were labeled, bundled, yet things were always missing. Not stolen, just misplaced. I know when you're dealing with people with many health issues, clothing is not a main concern, but often times, we'd never find the item - so we'd have to go out and buy more clothes for my grandmother. In terms of the facility, it was clean, but it always had a smell of urine. Again, I realize the work load, but I would sometimes see a patient who was in a chair in a rec room, sitting for 5-10 minutes in a pool of urine. The staff would always clean them up and attend to them - not complaining of the time or lack of doing work - but I felt that the cleaning up process could have been better. And if the cleaning up process was better, it would smell less of urine. My grandmother was in another facility, which was about the same. I give the staff a great deal of credit for their work, but I believe some administrative decisions could be better and ultimately make the facility more comfortable. Thank you.
